If I was old enough when this band was playing, I swear I would have run away with them as a roadie...for FREE!!! Just so I could hear Steve sing and the band play every night!

Omg! I would not have been able to stay in my seat!!! I would have been up dancing around! 💃🏾 They probably would have thrown me out bc I'm sure they must have told everyone to stay in their seats because no one is up dancing around! And look how close they are to the band!

I have to remind myself that he was maybe 35, and probably catered to a younger audience. Some of the ideas behind the songs are pretty immature for a 35-year-old. But I loved listening to him sing. I think by 1984 he had lost his romantic and sincere quality that I loved so much when he was younger and by 35 a cynicism had gotten to him and everything changed. He would go on to the Raised on Radio tour but his joy seemed to be missing. And then it was over

He’s just incredible and words aren’t enough to describe how magnificent he truly is. He’s everything good & pure and then some

So, the lady at 7:33 had a chance to sing for Steve Perry and totally blew it by not singing something significant! She could have told him "I sure would like to work with you Steve." and he probably would have reached out to her because he's the one that initiated saying that she has a beautiful voice AND asked her to sing something! He probably was looking for a female artist to work with and she could have been it! 😮 If that was me and I could sing, I would have sang my best song for at least 30 seconds and left my information with the studio for Steve to call me!

For many reasons strung out was one of my favorites of his it's interesting to hear that it was earlier recording

They very well could have fit the interview in on one episode but with full songs playing in between chatting there was more songs playing that we can listen to on our own then there was chatting with Steve. So I don't know that we could have really learned anything new here but I guess how much new stuff can you learn when he's been gone for so long
