This is the video channel for the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, which is more commonly known as Cal Poly Pomona. It is the only four-year agricultural college in the greater Los Angeles area.

depends on the classes you take.
This is very good and I would argue that food choices are very firm due to social considerations, such as family tradition and that which is consumed by friends during social activities. Further, the I don't believe it is possible to overstate the power of advertising and food industry influence. It is very powerful. Unfortunately, these forces sweep away most people's interest to protect the environment or animal welfare.

It's part of the Estudiante de Dietetica program, which trains our students to better serve the Latino community. Latinos suffer disproportionately from nutrition-related diseases: for example, new cases of diabetes and diabetes-related deaths are 50 to 90 percent higher in the Latino population than in the non-Latino white population, according to a 2010 study. The Estudiante de Dietetica program was funded by a USDA grant.
