In an Apartment? 3 Options for Waterless Car Washing
I bought mine in April also 2024
My mods I did myself interior: glove latch broke removed and put 4 magnets. Cut memory foam from an old mattress cover and put them under seat covers. Exterior grinded flaking paint and repainted them, grinded the rockers and put black diamond plate on. Bought a header and a super turbo muffler of Amazon and a shop installed. Gas mileage and performance way up after.
Such a great video!!!
Thank you!
thanks
Thanks for explaining this. Clay mitted a customers car due to paint overspray and after drying saw silver lines on the bonnet, thought that was marring and I ruined the paint (even though nothing in the side turned up, I worry a lot lol). Turns out the painter tried fixing it, stood on the bonnet and everything
Too much work. Just use acetone and a rag. Takes off all browning and any dirt/brake dust. Tires become deep black, without tire dressing. Save money and time
Really? I’ve never tried that. I don’t like using tire dressing cause a lot of it dry rots the tires.
I wouldn’t use acetone unless I have a specific use case like glue you’re trying to get off. It can weaken the rubber over time but people do use it. Not worth the risk in my opinion. I tend to stay away from acetone or products like muriatic acid people use on wheels and tires. Some chemicals are just too strong and risk fading plastic or messing up painted surfaces. Just my take there!
@@CarwashCountry thanks for the advice!
@@13ghosts31 I do it twice per year and my tires always look new.
@@CarwashCountry I hear you. But i've been using it for years, I clean my tires 2-3 times per season (I have winters and summers) my tires always look nice and black and I've never had an issue.
Easier product to use and speed up the cleaning process is Bleche White - dissolves the brown quickly and leaves the tire looking deep black.
Love that stuff for white walls and lettering too!
Periodically liberally spray 303 Protectant on tires to resist drying out and cracking from sunshine , let it simply be absorbed .
What's a water of a video
Third brake lights are gay
“We recommend wearing gloves…”. Guessing the folks in this video didn’t watch it first! 😂
I didn’t break out the heavy stuff this time but yes always a good thing. #fail 😆
Transmission fluid works great spare tire on the back of a jeep will look new 5 years later
clean tire, apply dressing then power wash off. looks like new. people got lazy and started using it without spraying it off and to me looks stupid. tires are not shiny.
The instructions actually say 'do not rinse off' on the product labels I've read.
Some like ‘em shiny. Matter of opinion.
I like my shit shiny 😊@@TripReviews
When the tires get dirty, I suggest using a reliable cleaning agent like super-clean and keep cleaning until the foam appears whiter than brownish in color. This is an effective way to ensure that your tires are clean and shining again.
I do this too, great tip!
Great vid!
Thank you!

Basically: Distilled is much cheaper but needs to be processed in advance through a slower process of heat + evaporation and therefore you'll have to buy in bulk and fill your tanks or gallons. Or make your own full distillery system, which would be very expensive upfront. Deionized water is pushed through filtration systems with special resin that can be done fast and on demand but requires replacing the resin as it loses it's effectiveness as you use it. You need to determine how many gallons you need (with a good car soap, you really just want to do your final rinse with the special water, while the rest can be normal tap) and how frequently you wash.. is it just for your own car once a month or something or is it daily for a detailing job? Then you can answer the question yourself looking at the math of how many gallons you'll go through and which system is more practical for you. But yes, they both work perfectly fine for preventing spots as they should be free of any solids in normal water.
Very informative. Cheers
I prefer distilled water because the process it went through by evaporation which is 100% sure no hardwater content the deionized water in the other hand is processed by filtration and sometimes the resin when it is used for a while it will not absorb the hard water as it used to be so some of hard water can go through and you will eventually see hard water on your car.
I think clearcoats have gotten a lot thinner since the 90s.
That’s why buying the aftermarket bracket that attaches to the factory seat riser is required. You were too cheap to do it correctly and you shouldn’t be making install videos. Geezo 🤦♂️
Great video! Personally I've switched to rinseless washes. I might have to power wash of mud, silt, bugs, bird droppings, etc, but from there it's riseless.
Heads up on the Optimum No Rinse (ONR). This is a rinseless wash that is a substitute for a traditional car wash soap. Their Opti - Clean is a true waterless spray and wipe wash.
definitely the way to go in the winter when you don't have as many bugs!
@@CarwashCountry - I was actually able to switch to rinseless permanently. I haven't used shampoo regularly since 2014 - aside from the tunnel wash I had. I'll never use a foam cannon or suds again if I can help it!!
I CANT HEEEAAARRRR YOU. SKIP
If I have a green works 2000 psi 15 amp what generator would you recommend ?
Water is such a con game. LAW Land Air Water. Pay to get contaminants removed and pay again to put minerals back in.
One of the best first easy mods for a new Wrangler TJ purchase
but like I said on your last video... Spray paint isn't exactly a modifacation... your only changing the color!🤷🤷
🙄is a can of spray paint really a mod??
Omg, if rain water is bad then how bad is your pipe water?!
Pipe water is much better bc it's gone through a purification process.
@@superduperboyx the pipe is rly dirty inside.. You may filter the water to drink, butnot all the water.
@@Szarko32c probably depends on the condition of your pipes and the county you live in

Happy to help!
When painting the dash/air bag cover did you remove that or use what application paint, spray?
I left everything on there and taped the windshield and everything around it with painters tape and newspaper. Just a few coats of adhesion promoter followed by the black duplicolor. I applied several light coats and topped it off with a matte clear. I did it two years ago and it still looks good!
Took caret out added seat covers Camera mounts
Daughter used Rino liner for the floor
removed my CC need to relocate my woofer

Great video explaining the air compressor .never had one But the last year or so I've added things to my set up . old-school Detailer I'm thinking about getting one and I definitely would get the smaller one Because sometimes Space is limited
Hey man, maybe get a mic for your videos. I have the volume all the way up and can barely hear you. Thanks!
Maybe not for a garage queen, but my car sits outside anyway. I love washing it in the rain. 🤷🏻♂️
That foam washer is a professional way of cleaning the car
Great tips for carwashing and efficiency!
At around 4:30 as you were showing your carpet, the door strap is right there and I remembered you can get an adjustable version of those from Rugged Ridge for like $10. It's a fun little mod that goes unnoticed, but can keep your doors from swinging wide open if you've got mirrors on the A-pillar or whatever.
Awesome, just what I needed clarification on. Thank you!
happy to help!
What detail would you give away free I’m kind of lossed
Which silver color you picked? Billet silver metallic?
I picked up a can of the Light Khaki Metallic since it matched the paint codes for mine.
@@CarwashCountry you used this paint can on dash bezel?
@@isachar2013 yes. I prepped it with adhesion promoter sprayed a few coats, and after dry sprayed it with a clear coat spray. It’s held up well after almost 2 years
Very nice of you trying to keep that TJ in nice condition! .
Thanks it’s always a job!
