blow air out your nose or train yourself to shut your nasal passages through facial contortion. . .I do the latter, they do not shut entirely, but it allows me to go pretty great distances because the air I blow out is very limited by my augmented nasal passages.
You know a video is good when you can watch it Japanese and understand everything in English. What a great swimmer and how about those flexible ankles. WOW!!!!
@valentinnnnnnnnnAAA muchisimo mejor estilo diria yo .. y no es de palta , es de esas que te hacen brillar los ojos y que presumes durante toda la competencia .
@timothyoborn we just got a swim lesson from an Olympic coach who said what you just said is old technique and that they're now finding that it's faster to hit with the back of your hand as she's doing and then turn your hand in the water. I would have thought you were correct before that. My kids have been dropping seconds and not tenths of seconds from their times.
I don't understand why she slides her arm sidewards during pull (early clip, left arm)? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's not what's supposed to do.
Thank you for showing dryland arm work technique!!
I get it because this video 🙂🙂
Beautiful!
I admire her breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly stroke videos but her crawl is much less powerful than her other strokes.
fantastic body roll, fantastic kick ! There's just a little lack of balance with the opposite arm while breathing
I like all videos with Ms. Hagiwara, a precious help for my swimming.
I WHNT THIS VIDEO ONLY wab sayd ALL VIDEO HD 1080
HI WER IS THIS VIDEO HD 1080 I WHANT

If it works for her, it's not.
Excellent style and visual didactics.

Her elbow isn't high enough wich provides a relatively small catch in the water and energy loss. But her backstroke in other video is really good.
This lady is an excellent swimmer, watch all her videos, her backstroke is world class

thats the idea of the wave style though the pull is wide, because i also thought that and thats how its meant to be

Very impressive swimmer. The video is very useful for understanding the technique though I have no pretensions of ever reaching her level. Thanks.

That's her own way of breathing
exactly and then she has to sweep the arms sideways to keep balanced but she is thin and light, that's why she is still so fast
superr
really helpful..Thank you ^^
I don't think it matters. It is pretty self-explanatory.
Her name is not Tocomo, but Tomoko.
Her swimming looks natural and elegant to me. I'm not sure which great swimmer you are talking about; Ryan Lochte also rolls.
they u go :P
yea, shes overreaching.
she is really perfect, thanks again :)
Спасибо большое, все четко и ясно :) ありがとう
Hagiwara Tomoko? 智子 萩原
Swimming rocks.
best swim video for explanation on youtube !!! 5 stars !!!
sugoi!
what impresses me is her ankle flexibility. The video of her swimming backstroke is even better in my opinion
I've shattered my personal best after watching this. thanks!
very nice body roll here in this video and, of course, perfect body :)
