That pretty good with a stock spur. I’m not sure the tooth count. Think they are something like 40+. I’m going to order a spool at some point and keep messing with the stock system. Fun truck for sure.

@@RocketRCBros at full lock yes. They all do it as to much steering started to bind the axles up.

26/50 stock speed gears they come with. Nothing fancy.

Awesome, the wife and I put 120 amp esc's in ours. Been able to hit 81 on 4s.stock gearing.

@jbish26 yeah this the stock speed gearing being used. At the moment it’s all I have for the car until all the gears come in that I’ve ordered. I’m in no rush to go to fast cause I’m just now getting back into it. Should be super fun to push this car.

@@showroomhobbies482 I know I used to own four lol. I had sold them all because of bills. I regret it but hey I still have 5 rc cars. Arrma Infraction V2, Traxxas E Revo 1/10th 1st generation model the older 1.0 Model with the older special edition Mamba Monster 2200 KV 1/8th scale brushless system. Right now it has the updated Mamba Monster X 2200 KV green 1/8 brushless combo. It goes up to 6S max. The older esc and motor were the special edition castle motor with the MXL-6S esc. Esc went to shit and I had sold the motor to a guy so I can just buy a whole new combo. I also have a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 Vxl and a Rustler 4x4 Vxl as well as a TLR or Losi Vaterra V100 1/10th onroad car converted to brushless with a 7700 KV and an esc that’s capable of 4S max. Both my Stampede and Rustler 4wd’s are both with the stock Traxxas Velinion 3S systems and the motors are the 3500 kv’s. Checkout my speed runs on my channel man. I just don’t have any new speed runs of the Vaterra V100 or the Arrma Infraction or any of the others. The videos are literally 3 1/2-4 years old all the way up to 5 1/2-6 years old. You’ll see the other cars that I used to own as well.

I backed it down after the video but it took driving with both hands lol. It got a little side ways but not bad.

Just scale stuff to use lol. I still use them alot to keep trucks and cars off the tables so the foams dont flat spot from sitting.

I ended up selling the truck shortly after the video due to an offer I couldnt turn down. I drove the truck a little and it was extremely nice for a trail truck but needed some serious attention in the rock crawling area. At the end of the day it's not a rock crawler but has potential if you can get the center of gravity lower. It was a fun truck and a great time to build but it's a really fancy trail truck and should stay that way imo and only due to the fact that to make it a successful rock crawler you will have to remove and delete alot of the detail to lose weight and get it where it would need to be to not roll over. @@showroomhobbies482 Thanx for the reply. And yes, I think I want a multi-purpose vehicle. One I can go hiking with and also give a taste of crawling to friends. I have an SSD Trail King on the way currently. So my SCX10.2 or a Cross RC RTR will become a trail & loaner truck.

@@chrispearce9224 Have you considered a TRX from Traxxas? Ridiculously capable rig for anything. I used to have a trx4 sport and loved it so I recently got back into rc and picked up a trx4 Bronco. Couldnt be happier with its performance and the looks of it.

@@showroomhobbies482 I have, and also the Gen 8 V2. Really liking the the TRX4 but those two seem to be closer to 1/8 scale. I think they are 10 or 15 mm longer and then 10mm wider??? I held a Gen 8 in my hands that was "VERY" tricked out and it seemed larger than my SCX10.2 which has a big '79 F-250 body.

@@chrispearce9224 they are a bit bigger then a Cross, which is weird due to the fc that normally Redcat makes the true 1/10 scales most the time. Traxxas can just take a beating. That Cross Demon won't be able to handle any hard hits. It more show then anything.
