Hi! Could you please tell the name of this rose grease in english,so we can look for It in Europe?

A technical question about the black keys: there are numberings on them 1-5 (21 pieces), 1-6 (7 pieces) and 1-7 (8 pieces) Could you tell me which black key goes to which note? I have disassembled the keys but did not notice these numberings and cannot guess which is the correct position for them.

Hello. On my roland fp30x, tone c2 is much louder than the other tones. It has a dynamic response but is different from other tones. I made reset. Installed new system program version 1.02 but no change.

Nice to see the PHA-4 mechanics and wonder what the PHA-50 looks like. Roland used the PHA-4 on their new studio midi controller with Midi-2 and USC C support!;-) MIDI-2 is finally here but was thinking the PHA-50 more suited for synth work than the PHA-40 based on what I've read without trying either out to see for myself. Some say the PHA-4 has more of a "real" piano feel. You don't need graded and hammer action for synth work or even emulating piano if the action is really good to start with... which admittedly may require some form of mechanical leveraged weight system of it's own to create a feeling of throw depth and oscillation return rates connected to key velocity... but you don't need or want a hammer for creating the sound of your breath or strings. IE: With MIDI-2 Poly AT and POLY release velocity are now way more important places to put the money for maximum synth expression as I think most people would be surprised what the midi triggering software layer can do with 32 bits to emulate a hammer (and far more) to trick the brain as the Elka MK Series could do along with so much more back in the 80's. One of the few poly AT MIDI keyboards ever made which is an insult with todays tech... but MIDI-2 is here and higher resolution standards from 127 steps max to 32 bit (over 4.25 billion steps... huge change happening now) on todays computer chips should change that quick when the younger generation stops asking what poly AT is and knows what it is. The VAX 77 Poly AT controller was a decade ahead of the game and too expensive being made by a small American Company most people never heard of. But this is now and I just can't see Polyphonic AT and Release Velocity which was considered a must in high end keyboards in the 80's to be left out much longer for cost cutting reasons. Channel after touch just makes a mess of complex evolving sounds and stops the potential programming capabilities of midi that create emotion... like being able to add a little more volume or some other effect to one particular note being held down. Poly AT done right can be very natural and go unnoticed in use but even a beginner will notice it being turned off. And Poly AT has been turned off for almost 40 years... it's about the same age as MIDI 1 is because it barely got started and hit a wall. Maybe it's time to stop trying to measure a curve with a straight line while running around the Circle... in both directions never the less.

Thanks for the review. As far as I understood the BMC chip in the FP 30x is upgraded. Is the RP 701 chip also upgraded?

btw: using a right sized (try out some that you have at home) conical end of a pen to take out the keys is much easier and faster
