Man in Wisconsin bar all night, is on phone with his fiance the next day!
Radio stations used these orban make limiters
I have the exact same amp but cannot get anywhere near the crunchy distorted tone that is demonstrated in this video. It all sounds clean to me. I’m using the exact same knob positions that are in this video (Channel B). Not sure what I’m doing wrong unless there is something wrong my amp. Does the type of guitar play a big factor in this? I wouldn’t think so.
Yes the guitar does matter. Pick ups really affect an amplifiers tone.
Also, make sure your plugged into the HIGH channel. Otherwise it won’t work. I had the same problem! Only took me 20 years to figure it out.
It’s hard to tell,, but in this 424A, do those 4 black meters (2 for gain and the 2 for VCA) do they light up? Mine are out, the meter works but maybe they require a bulb
have the same model... what a cool amp.
What an awesome old relic sounds great would be a great spare amp in a jam room
I have the 2x12 version, have owned the head version too. I've seen a 1x15, but never the 2x10. Sounds great!!!
