Soooo, i do know a little bit about PC's and PC components and accessories. Not much, but enough to know what im doing. But, i have absolutely ZERO idea what these are, what they do and why people need them. HOWEVERRR, i found a MT-VIKI 16 port VGA KVM LCD console and its EXTREMELY EXTREMELY cheap!! I see that this specific one retails around 740-750$. Now, i have an opportunity to purchase this for 3-5$ at a 99.7% discount as of now. Now, the price may go up, depending on if anybody else bids on it or not, but well see. My question is, since i have ZERO knowledge whatsoever about this and have zero need for it, would it be worth me bidding on up to like 100$ or so depending on how the auction goes for it? Is there a market for these? Like, would i have a somewhat quick and easy time selling this? Or is the market small or limited that it won't sell for a long time, if at all?

Hi There, I saw this solution and I just applied here at home and I got a very weird scenario. Using a Cat 8 ethernet cable for 20m long, If I stretch it using all length of the cable, the Signal wont reach the projector on ceiling about 4m high coming down on a wall parallel to Projector's lens But using the same cable in a short path from receiver up to a transversal wall to projector's lens everything works Im using TV service provider box, connected to Receiver and the main video source Arc connected to projector. Stretched wont work, shorter path work just fine. The problem with the short one is that its outside wall. Any tips or help?

The normal is 29”-31”. The KVM is too short for my rack. The in video its says 24”-31”.

I have a 4 port VGA splitter. But have 2 monitors with which to connect to my laptop. My question is 1. Must I have four screens for it to recognize properly? Cos it identifies only 2 screens and duplicates the laptop display to the second monitor. So I can see two different things on 3 screens instead of seeing three different things.
