I figured out how to do this. For the others....you have to click outside the area after you ungroup and then you delete the coloured rectangle outside the drawing. Otherwise it will delete everything for some reason​@@DibyenduRoySCREnter

@@korruptnovellst4751 maybe the strokes are not intersect properly. Brush strokes must intersect properly to divide the yellow fill shape to segregate different area.

A basic wacom tablet

Although I cannot recall the specifics at the moment, one thing I am certain of is that I always make sure to use the latest version available from Adobe Creative Cloud. Whatever version they provide, I ensure that I am up-to-date with it. Presently, I am using CC2023 V27.7.

It is a default brush in brush panel. Looks like a spot brush, but if you hover over on it, the tool tip will state it's nature

Not to worry. there are hundreds of tutorial that used pen tool and mouse for portrait illustration that you can follow. I did this tutorial exclusively on graphic tablet because that was not available on RUclips, at least step by step.

@sladeniz9766 This is an advance tutorial of vector portrait illustration. So, I have to consider that the followers have basic illustrator knowledge. in future I will come up with Basic tutorials about Illustrator.

usually, this is a default feature for a graphics tablet. but sometimes it doesn't work correctly. as a matter of fact, many reasons are responsible for this issue. we need to talk about all the possibilities. so I think I will come up with a tutorial explaining all the solutions regarding this issue shortly. thanks.

In Adobe Illustrator, you can change the stroke profile of a path using the "Stroke" panel. Here's how you can do it: 1. Open Adobe Illustrator and create or open a document. 2. Select the path or object to which you want to apply the stroke profile. If it's not already a stroked path, use the "Pen Tool" (P) to draw a path, and then select it. 3. If the "Stroke" panel is not visible, go to "Window" in the top menu and select "Stroke" to open the Stroke panel. 4. In the Stroke panel, you'll see various options to customize the appearance of the stroke. One of these options is the "Profile" drop-down menu. It's represented by a square icon with different stroke profiles. 5. Click on the "Profile" drop-down menu to reveal the available stroke profiles. 6. Choose the stroke profile that you want to apply to the selected path. You can click on different profiles to see how they affect the appearance of the stroke. 7. If you don't see the desired stroke profile in the default options, you can create and save custom stroke profiles. To do this, click on the "Profile" drop-down menu and select "Open Profile Library," then choose "User Defined." This will open a new window where you can create, edit, and save custom stroke profiles. 8. Once you've selected a stroke profile, it will be applied to the selected path.

I don’t think I totally understand your point. I am not sure what you are asking. if your photo is 16bit, then you cannot open filter gallery. So it’s for sure isn’t. furthermore, if your foreground and background both the colours are white and you go to filter gallery and apply few sketch filters like charcoal, bas relief, torn edge etc. the photo will be just a white background. But a small tiny white square is confusing. If you kindly send me some screenshots of the process, I may have come up with a solution. Thanks.

First unlock and select the image, then open gallery effects..

Pencil doesn't act as pressure sensitive. It is brush who has that characteristic.

@@DibyenduRoySCREnter why do you switch from the brush tool to the pencil tool? I think this is what confused me.

@@ben_angel as and when is required I switch from brush to pencil to brush. Even sometime I use pen tool if needed. I focus on creating art, not on tools.
