Led Lenser & Beta 05 Two in One Review!!
It didn't look like it did a good job on anything particularly well. Seems kinda useless.
I would agree. It’s always important to remember that it’s a stand-in for a hatchet. Tools that are made for the job are always better, but in a pinch, you could absolutely use this if you had no other means. It’s a gimmicky tool for sure. I still use it, mainly as a skinning blade or as an ulu for fleshing hides before I tan them in addition to my dedicated fleshing knife. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@alphaomegasurvival9315 But you could carry a hatchet just as easily.
This man is speaking truth and if you don’t know Jesus Christ as your personal savior, don’t wait seek him now!
Where do you bay one ?
Another company just started making Thease again,. I have one that I have had for close of 30 years now, I got it at a garage sale when I was a kid. I also have a Gerber Gator clip point that I've had since I was like 16 hahahaha
Where did you purchase this? I'm trying to see what they are worth and were I can get one! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Cheers, Kimmers and Jerbs #22ADAY I'll never quit quitting 👍🏼🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦👍🏼
My Battalion Chief gave me mine. The only ones I’ve seen for sale were on eBay between $80-$120. Thanks for watching!
Definitely adding one per bug out bag
As a BlackSmith Hobbyist I am going to try to build a improved mulitary tool more like a Tommy Hawk of high carbon steel. When I do would you test it?
I’d be honored to test it! Make 2 in case I wanna buy it from you ;) lol
I'm retired and much more likely to gift it than sale as out of my way of doing things. Wishing others and better Smiths improve the tool given a better product and few jobs as something our country needs and might benefit hundreds of hunters and campers perhaps saving someone who loves the woods Thanks My Forge will be getting rebuild hopefully be back working about New Years Thanks
Folks this is a skinner is all .
I see this as more of a hunting field dressing tool than anything. No need to carry a saw and you can skin it too.
As a BlackSmith Hobbyist I feel it's best use would be as a tool for processing meat in the field prepare any meat to pack up larger than a young deer that needs to be carried or packed out. As a BlackSmith Hobbyist I believe any Smith with skills to make a Tommy Hawk can improve the concept and improve every function of the cast steel tool. I'm going to build myself one and challenging other Smiths to improve this tool. With improvement it should become the best single tool for survival and field dressing anything bigger than a small deer and helpful with the big game such as moose and more.
Basically a good all purpose multitool, too heavy for edc unless skinning, surveying, or cutting cars apart, but very good for these things.
Plus not accurate or the same weight each time.
There's really no way around buying shot the time it takes to make just buy.
No doubt, buying modern ammo is ideal, but the scenario here is if you didn’t have that option. You have to look at natural forms of ammo in the instance that modern ammo is not available.
@@alphaomegasurvival9315 definitely I have marbles and made shot from lead but nothing beats bought shot.
Thanks for shitting on this guys video! I almost fell for it! Some guy teaching people stuff, the nerve! I’m going immediately to your channel to watch your far superior videos. Oh, wait, you’re just an asshat… 😶 OP, good job, brudda! 👏
@@georgevanaken925 is this your first time on the internet? Way to much emotion for this comment. Asshat??? Bruddu?? Are you twelve. If you don't have ammo or can't afford it then pick up some pebbles if you are serious about actually hitting things then these home mades are terrible I was giving advice.
@@SCOTSMAN. 😶
Also a wide chisel type situation. And drill two holes in the thin part to bolt a split handle at a 90% angle to the tool handle. And bring a hammer to hit the back of it. I've got one and love it!!! And your right good for skinning!!! It itself is a good hammer also. Nice tool.
That flashlights called the surefire UDR dominator 2400 lumens
No, I assure you it’s an Ultrafire. It’s a Chinese knockoff of Surefire. Thanks for watching!
I seen one surefire flashlight cost around $1,200
Can you provide a link as to where to buy besides battlebox?.
I unfortunately could not find any online other than a couple on eBay. If you find a source, please link it! Thanks!
Most places like harbor freight, lows, home depot and maby Walmart have them long time ago. I don't know about now. Oh yeah of course Northern Tool & equipment. That last one probably.
Mtn bonded released the latest iteration of this tool, used my old man's as a kid, this brings back some memories.
They are reusable if you shoot them in soft things like cardboard targets
only if you have a soft backing that can catch them without breaking them like a thick mesh screen or a towel
Very interesting! Are there a way to round them faster than rubbing clay with your hands?
Nice ammo making but let the clay ammo dry completely for one day under Sun light and then put those ammo into fire Coal and after 15 to 30minitus these ammo would become red in color. This is what a time to take them out off. After getting cool use these ammo. Now it ll become more stronger
Thanks for the view and the advice! I will definitely have to try this out!
Thanks for the review, I just ordered the eight for $24, and I was worry
Is it full tang?
yes solid full tang one piece of metal.
If you want them to be harder. Allow the clay to dry completely before you bake them. Keep them in the fire for about two hours. I use a scoop to pick up the clay so I get about the same amount every time. Mine start off about .45 caliber wet. Dry they are a bit over .40 caliber.
You may want to try a magnesium block
Nice I think I will try this along with maybe even glazing them for more strength. ruclips.net/video/iof4xwRUW8s/видео.html I wonder if they clay ones are for target only?

hi A&O survival school,i have just received my UT WF-501B torch, just a few questions,it gets warm is this normal, even after a few minuites, after ive had a few cans I miss the toilet bowl,so there should be plenty off piss around the toilet, but it does not show up,ive two cats but haven't found any cat piss either,it does reveal stuff very well, stains in the kitchen, squares on the walls where pictures where before, very good, but why cant I see piss?
Is this tool TSA compliant?
I have bag that would fit this role of a bag" shorter term " Much lighter vs much longer and heavier bag. Something to use when short on time. Really try to shed oz as much without losing to much in usefulness and function. Even a much of smaller things together can make a difference overall.
Thanks for doing this review. I just bought this knife and I also really like it. The handle grip just feels great in my hands and I love the slim narrowing shape of the blade. Beautiful beautiful knife. Mine probably wasn't as sharp as yours, unless our definition of sharp is different. Mine needs to easily slice paper to be sharp and out of the box, this one wouldn't. At least not very well. But like you say, this is not a knife that necessarily needs to be razor sharp cause its meant for more heavy duty use.

Where can I buy the UltraFire WF-501b UV Blacklight Torch?
+Stevenson Catul You can purchase this light on Ebay. Just search the name and you shouldn't have any issue finding it. I would recommend grabbing one if it is in the United States. I had mine shipped from China and it took about a month to receive it. Plus you are more likely to receive a genuine UltraFire rather than a fake. Take Care!
At 410 nM that is not a blacklight. 400 nM is the cutoff where violet ends and blacklight (ultraviolet) begins. Sure 410 nM violet light makes fluorescent objects glow. Fluorescent highlighters that seem to produce a "neon" version of a color, do so because there are phosphors in there that fluoresce under visible light even without any UV present. I suppose it's possible you meant, either, that it ranges up to and including 410 nM, or less likely, that it's "peak" output is 410 nM. Still, unless you are a forensics expert, I don't see the point in having UV torch that doesn't cut off most of the visible light (at and above 400 nM). I have this very same UltraFire torch model, except its peak output is at 365 nM and I intend to stack on a couple of filters on it calculated to cut out virtually all visible light while letting the invisible UV light through. The result: Much better contrast of fluorescent emissions from objects due to reduced or nil reflected visible visible light. When I get my filters in place, I should be able to aim my torch at fluorescent and non-fluorescent objects in the dark and see only the fluorescent, and everything else just black darkness.
Well you're both right and wrong. A blacklight is that which contains ultraviolet light. The strength depends upon the amount of true ultraviolet light that is output. A normal violet light (can be bought for a dollar or two) only has a percent or two makeup of ultraviolet light. This is indeed a blacklight, albeit a fairly weak one.
Hello, I am in Brazil and I really liked your video. congratulations
lol "black" light
I was just getting ready to put my bag on a diet. After taking mine out a few times I found there is just way more than I will ever need in it.
That's why I did mine. Gonna be taking it out on the trail a lot more just to get used to carrying it.
@jaimecalderon Everything I have is from Ebay. Just search Ultrafire WF-501b and listings should come up with replacement bulbs.
whats up with those custom uv lights from your buddy
Hey i have a question i bought the same flash light and it shows it red i bought it from Amazon but i got it used and the led i think is running low because it doesn't shine as bright where can i switch the led buld or what did you buy to get the green led buld for this flashlight? Text me info on it please (405)406-4422
i bought mine from dealextreme when you posted you vid...just got in my hands today.. brazilian IRS is a disgrace.
If people need to recharge their Nitecore T-Series LED Keychain flashlight off their computers, then they will need a micro USB to standard size male USB connector. Recharging time varies according to your computer's USB outlet. Mine recharged in one hour and am extremely pleased with it. The build quality is excellent. However, when extracting the flashlight from its plastic+cardboard wrapping, be careful you don't cut your finger in the cut plastic, and, loose the tiniest of the 2 rings. Mine pinged out. Later I found it nestling in my cleavage. xD Thank you for the great review of a great little product. :)
Are you sure about the wavelength? I bought one of these specifically because it is labelled as 375nm, because I wanted something with a lower wavelength Search ebay for item 151423132271 to see the one I got. It looks the same as yours and has the same model number.
Yes I am sure. Wavelengths in that range would luminesce bodily fluids and would have less visible light. The "real" black lights that do that cost a lot of money. These are definitely over 400 nm. They only luminesce certain plastics, carpet stains, etc. Thanks for watching!
+Alpha & Omega Survival School I think you're confusing UV (10nm to 380nm) with lights used by hunters to track a blood trail, and those, which are generally 400nm and higher. This simply makes the blood easier to see against the green vegetation, as blood does not naturally flouresce. This is why lights sold as "true" UV will typically be 365nm, and are often paired with eye protection. Also, spin-off implies subsidiary; the word you're looking for is knock-off, which would be more appropriate in this instance, wherein the brand name is altered to avoid trademark violations. This happens a lot with goods sold on eBay and Amazon, and more often than not you'll find the product is overall subpar; as is the case with most of these 18650 driven LED flashlights.
+Rick Evans Lights used to track blood are not black lights. I have one that I use. A black light contains ultraviolet light, the stronger ones have less visible beams while the weaker ones are more purple light. But it is indeed a black light. And I appreciate the vocab lesson.
Nice review man!
Thanks brother! And thanks for watching!
Looks like a tricked out fishing lure, I'd like get a couple to hang from the zippers of my winter coats.
There is no such 18650 with that many mah. I believe the highest rated 18650 by a reputable company is 3600 mah.
Yes I actually mentioned that once I found out about it. The ultrafire company only makes up to 3000 mah
Nice job! Actually, UltraFire is pretty cheap, but it's a brand that makes cheap flashlights which perform pretty well.....Keep on! Love this video!
