I know this is a year old, but just in case: you definitely can leave it on and the thing won't explode, but it's absolutely best practice to turn it off when you're finished using it to preserve the quality of the turntable over a long period of time

I got the SR6BT, which are the exact same as the AR5BT, they were $150 and that's as cheap as these get. Hope it helps, though I'm one year late lol

Hey Carl, I hope you're enjoying music with your SR6BT! Do you recommend it? and how good is it for watching movies and are you facing any latency while watching movies?

I haven't noticed latency at all, and they sound really nice, very clear. Using the universally known M50x as point of comparison, these are less harsh, but they also have less bass. They do best with classical music and female vocals, that's where they shine, but bass-heavy music will sound kinda bland in these. I'm not a basshead so I love them, that's not a problem, plus they have better soundstage than the M50x which are more in-your-face. I don't crack the volume super-high but I go loud at times and I've found no distortion whatsoever. The bass becomes slightly more notorious when used as BT as opposed to plugged in, but the audio resolution is slightly lower too so you gain some you lose some. Overall I really like them, plus they're comfortable and lightweight. I recommend them if you're not a basshead, but if you like a warmer sound signature, yeah, steer clear of these ones, there are other options.
