We drove in our camper van the famous Forgotten Hwy from Stratford in Taranaki to Taumarunui . It was not long after the storms that hit a large part of the north island of NZ . Sat 26 Feb 2022 I joined thousands of people from NZ to do a 5 k walk across Auckland harbour bridge to protest about losing our freedom .I am 71 years old and back in May 1959 just before this bridge opened I was not quite 9 years old and along with my big sister and grandmother got to walk on the top part of the bridge .

We had 5 days at sea from Mauritius to Sri Lanka and crossed the equator during this time. The crew put on this ceremony for us and at the end invited guests who were crossing for the first time to join in at the end and also to kiss the fish which is part of the tradition.

We enjoyed listening to Bruce and particularly the Drifters songs that he sang. We also got to meet him and sat with him for lunch for an interesting chat. He is such a freindly humble man . Originally from Los Angeles California

The ship overnighted in Mauritius and we were entertained by this group. Little did we know it was to be the last time we left the ship until we finally got off in Muscat, Oman . It was supposed to be Dubai. The Corona Virus prevented this and the other scheduled stops.

They came aboard and performed for us on the second evening in Durban before we left . They made the clicks in their words and talked about them.The use of click consonants is one of the most distinctive features of Zulu.

The second port of call on our 26 day cruise that left Cape Town on Feb 20, 2020 was Durban. Before we left, this Zula Dance group came aboard to perform for us. They did 2 performances, one at each end of the outide deck, so everyone could see . Welcome to Scotland some places are blue but Scotland is green because of all the rain, for a half day tour you saw a lot in a short time. Being Scots I have walked all the route of your tour not at once but many times over the years , Loch eck is a particular favourite.

this was 4 years ago and our ship was docked in Durban so I guess you could start looking there or ask Azamara as they would have contracted. them to do the performance .I live in NZ

Sure but when you say "our" who actually owns it? Is your husband, or are you Indonesian? Who is cleaning your pool and garden daily, at what cost? Also the surf right up there is often flat (as in the day you filmed this). But it is nice and peaceful. Banyak nyamuk sama ular pun yach! Thanks for the great views.

Has been a few years since I've saw and heard both Gray and Brendan, last time I saw Gray was at his factory in Papatoetoe in the early 70's when I bought one of his Gun amps, around the same time Brendan was down at the Paerata Tavern with Lou Clauson. I was playing the Auckland scene mid 60's thru to early 70's before leaving New Zealand. Good to hear you all, music from home.

I was looking through an old book my mum gave me and it had a lot of our Maori heritage including Takaroa but I am a descendant of Michael Aldridge. I am located in Australia but want nothing more then to learn more about my heritage, this was lovely to watch.

We were on Princess last time, but the Reflection this August! I loved the bagpipe greeting. Loch Lomond was beautiful. And the wonderful people of Greenock were kind and welcoming. I distinctly remember an older veteran talking with us as we queued up to reboard. I hope the Reflection turns out to make this an even better experience. Thanks for your video!
