Lived in Colorado Springs for a short time while in the military. Honestly not a fan of the people but the state itself is gorgeous!

I did a Colorado trip back in May... still putting videos about it out. First thing my Colorado buddies asked when they found out I was there was, "Did you visit Bishops Castle?"

I LOVE Bishop’s Castle! I’ve been several times & find something new every time. I’ve been to the top of every part & even crossed the “bridge” between the 2 sides. And YES, I was terrified 😉. The Old Farmer was supposed to take a picture of me, but decided, he would be creative & get a video instead. Of course he forgot to hit record 😩. I was too scared to go back & do it again, as it wind was blowing, the bridge was swaying & the rails are only a bit above my knees

Knew a man years ago ...young man mid 30s ....and had known him for few years when one day he told me when he was 17 he got involved in something he souldnt .....and had spent some time at brushy .....said day one walking thre the gated chain lenght fence in the front of the prison ....the mowing crew had just finished mowning ....said he was almost about to take his first step towards the inside of the prison on the guards comand when one of the mowing crew ( trustee) hit another one dead center of the forhead with the blade off his push mower ....buddy said blood spayed him on his cheek ......the blow killed the man insanity....said it near split the mans head into 2 pieces .....17and half years old sentenced as an adult ....imagine that being your first day in prison .....this was the answer i got when i ask him why he was always so quite ....never spoke much ....he told this was why ....

I did 3 years, then 10 years, then 35 years, at Brushy, alot of what is said here is wrong. I still keep prison ID card, just so I will never forget, nor never return.

People could really get out of that place if they was from Tennessee Virginia and West Virginia especially the people who are familiar with mountains wouldn’t be as hard as it looks.
