Thanks for posting, I have the same problem, how did you separate the grey cover from the white? When you took the motors out they were only partially opened but when you replaced the motors the grey cover was completely separated from the module, did you do something off camera that we didn't see? I'm afraid to dismantle the mechanical side (black housing) in case everything falls apart!! 😬
My advice is to take as many photos of the unit as you can with the covers carefully opened. If you need to separate the covers then you'll have a reference. In my case a spring popped out. you only need clearance to get the motors out. Thanks for watching.
@@diyrepairsZA thanks for your reply, I'll give it a try, it's my driver's door so gotta be done, have a great day 👍🏻
@@mattinmalaga Thank you and good luck with your repair.
Nice . Tell us more about your system
Thanks Eugene! It's got 7,2kW of panels running on two 5Kw inverters and 3x 5,12Kw Li-Ion batteries

Broad spectrum welding ain’t one of them pal haha turn the juice up sparky.
I made almost identical few years ago. It has been the only tool holder i have used since. You can use tools made out of old drillbits of various diameters. Very lekker.
Thanks! I made a QCTP and made an appropriate boring bar holder as well.

Where can i get one of those radius measuring tools, lol.
Makro! 🤣
Nicely done. I just bought one a week ago. Hope to smelt so. E aluminium next weekend sometime. What are you planning to smelt?
I have melted a whole lot of chips and soda cans. I have used it to make the rotary fixture table on my Improvised DIY channel. The forge burner was upgraded. How much was your crucible?
PS: Wear respirators. Aluminium and brass are nasty stuff.
@@diyrepairsZA Will do, thanks!
@@diyrepairsZA Bought a few, bloody expensive, will check. Casting sand price was also bloody ridiculous but I could only find a jewelery manufacturing equipment shop that sells this stuff in pta.
@@paulrodrigues5562 Have you tried a sample of play sand and bentonite clay. The bentonite can be found at Dischem.
Ficou muito boa a sua maquina.
Thank You. It was made with off-cuts from other projects.
