I am just seeing g this video. To he really cares about his customers. I will try to tell you a story short. I researched rifles. I saw that henry was made in America. Thinking what they carried back in the day. So, I got a 3030 brass. It was not the one that I was looking for. But I bought it at a gun show. I almost had it sold at the show. Months later. I get an email from a company that said, your henry was back in stock. It was a 45 colt. I didn't want it. But an hour later. I ordered it. Just this past Wednesday. I get am email from a gun store that stated the henry you want is in stock. It was the exact henry I have been looking for. A 3030 side gate color case. Now I have the original rifle that I wanted. But still looking for the 44 mag and 357. Thanks for your time in reading my long, short story.

I always said I would buy a Henry once they added a side gate. Once the model X came out I was fortunate enough to get one in .357 not long after they were released. I absolutely love it. That being said what I would really like is a "light" model. I know there is a lot of material in a lever gun but I would absolutely love a feather weight lever. Chop an inch off of the stock and barrel, lighten the barrel and receiver as much as possible, and get rid of the tube loading system. I think it would make for a very handy carbine.

I absolutely love my 2 henry firearms. 1 shotgun in .410 bore and its fan freeking tastic for home defense. Shorter barrel helps get it around small areas, not so many BBs tearing up my dry wall, accurate, and easy to use, you can shoot it 100 times before a sore shoulder. My .44 is my hunting rifle. It is a big bang with a small kick. Side loading gate is awesome. love them, love them, love them. Now my .44 x model did have a flaw and would jam in the receiver when working the lever. Henry took it back, fixed it, sent it back to me AND refunded me and money spent on sending them the firearm. Great company. I hope they are around for a long long time. Edit- Not to mention that Anthony himself e-mailed me personally with his concern and I could tell he wanted to make things right asap. He truly cares about his customer.

Big Henry fan here. Own a few Henry lever guns, which are great, but I also have several Henry single shots that are great guns as well. Thanks for making a quality product.

This is a very important Conversation that I think should be had more often than not. One of my biggest motivators was pretty much the same, I need to be able to defend my family and home. I was in no shape, still not there yet, but I know that at least at this point I won't just drop dead trying to draw my weapon sheesh!!!

Just discovered you...will have to check out some of these books. My zombie answer (not that you asked): I think silence is paramount since any sound means even a great marksman is going to have at least 20-80 zombies make it up that hill. No one is gonna take out 20 zombies, though cardio would help; perhaps you could reload on the run as you create distance, then engage again, then break again. But as a 50yr old non-runner, my thinking is you have to go with the silent option. -- The shotgun is too slow to reload though I suppose there are 20rd mags for some of the semi-autos BUT you can't guarantee that buckshot will hit the brain until their getting really close--at 50Y your pattern may be so loose that they only suffer torso/leg hits. So I think you likely get overrun. -- The 22LR Carbine with 1000rds--with a few reliable 100rd drum mags--would be great except it's too loud. In the sub-100Y distance, head shots are pretty easy with a LPVO. But, again, I think you likely get overrun. -- Assuming you have reliable subsonic ammo (rare in 5.56/.223) and a Hollywood quiet suppressor, that seems the way to go because you can take your time, and hit the closer ones first without attracting others. You may have a tiny handful survive (after all, a subsonic 223 round going 950fps at 80Y could get deflected by teeth), but would have a better chance getting to the woods and taking them out with a stick. ** Ideally, I'd want a 300blk AR shooting 220gr subsonics, since those can actually get close to Hollywood quiet, and have plenty of penetration inside 100Y.
