@@jaysonengelhardt nice fam! were/is there any rubbing issues on the catback?? ive had this catback on my fa5 07 and it was rubbing a little bit on the back bumper on the muffler, was there any rubbing from muffler on the coupe? i have a coupe now

A good rule of thumb to keep..if you have the parts you should always keep enough for the tune. In most cases it is way more important then the part itself. When I was running my SRI,TESTPIPE & CATBACK. I didn’t run a tune. But.. that’s about the extent you should go without tuning. You will be fine , just keep in mind a tune will be what really brings the power to the table.

Came here to say this. My 08 coupe is black and I wish it was white so bad. This car looks so nice with those wheels too. Anyone know what they are?

@@oofian4133oh hey i forgot I about this comment lol. Also I bought the fg2 and I’m having a blast with it! I ended up liking the fg2 more due to its sporty 2 door look whereas the fa5 looks too bulky and too normal like normal traffic lol

I definitely think it has the note it does due to it being a test pipe and not a full blown header. My original catback for this car was a greddy rs and wow did that exhaust sit amazing. Slightly tilting out to the side and pointed up

And I think your right, I kinda feel the same, putting a header/downpipe on any of the Kseries motors change the tone SO MUCH for any exhaust.. even the Q300 gets stoopid loud and kind of raspy which I hate. Test pipe/ exhaust route is definitely best, unless your looking for FBO w straight up power Either way your car sounded amazing (saw you bought a Evo 😅)

@@superallxn3629 ran it over a year before I sold the car, if you like loud, 100% recommend. Definitely the best exhaust for bringing out as much engine noise as possible. My theory is always, why spend all the money on a system for it to sound damn near stock. Make it loud

I found the skunk2 3” for 500 on RCA garage, which was cheaper then the invidia 3” by almost 200$. It’s mostly just preference and what ur wallet can take. I love the skunk2 brand personally.

@@jonathanrayejr They're both pretty much the same. Small resonator with canister style muffler. I think you'd be happy with either if that's what you're looking for.

I learned that going catless definitely creates a hissing/leaking kinda sound. But that is normal. I thought mine was leaking when I first put it on but that is just the sound of the large quantity of air running through the thin walled test pipe. But to answer ur question I order an ep3 donut gasket which I probably didn’t have to do. No leaks tho.

@@jaysonengelhardt oh I see.. yeah I heard that too but I heard people say that putting the donut gasket should help. Did you know what exact donut you bought for it? Is it a Honda oem one or another brand name?

@@chrisfernandez1106 ya it was an oem Honda gasket from a 03-05 civic si, there a bit taller and thicker but the same dimensions as ours . Pretty sure the s2000 one is the same too.

@@dominicmartin6384 thanks bro, ya the r18 is definitely hard to make sound decent. My buddy has an 8th gen r18 with a yonaka catback and it sounds pretty decent.
