Looks like a good spot
Lovely area, and pub. We can't recommend it enough.
Thanks for your info. Though, the parking wasn't mentioned, but the motorhome parking you referring to is: Glacis square (Fouerplaatz), Ville-Haute Luxembourg, Luxemburg.
Thanks, Jochem, for the information.👍🏻
Called to see you earlier, but guessed you must’ve been out with the dogs as they didn’t bark. We’ll catch up soon enjoying your videos.❤

Hi, what a great site. Are dogs allowed on the beach ???
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the beach ,the reception staff did say we could take the dogs onto the far corner off to the right of our pitch but it was very rocky unless you time it right for the tide then there is a small sandy area.
Great video this site is definitely going on our list now looks so nice
It is so good it has everything ,we had a pitch that is categorised as near the sea and was perfect.
I've been looking at this site for our 3 week trip including Annecy starting next week. I asked if the dogs where allowed on the campsite beach and was told no but there is a beach reserved for dogs 5 minutes walk from the campsite beach. Is this the beach in your video?
Hi Tim ,Yes, the beach is in the video. When I take them into the water, it is literally 5 mins from the site. Very dog friendly in other areas as well. The water is so nice and sandy underfoot.
Beautiful place!!!! you´re welcome to come in October for an argentinian wine tour in motorhomes! 😊🍷🍇 ➡ruclips.net/video/8j338rGvsnk/видео.html
This looks amazing ,something we must do in the future. 👌🏻
Did you use a drone for the Areil shots ? Stunning scenery thank you for sharing ❤
Hi Jean, yes we do use a drone. It's a DJI mini 2 very easy to operate. Thank you for the comment.
Shame looks like a good stopover, just read reviews on google maps and it is not open anymore, an apology from owner on there.
That's strange as on the app it says it is open. Shame if it has closed it was lovely.
possibly the reason you find other walkers grumpy could be that they are wary of your dogs off leads.
Nothing wrong with well-behaved dogs off the lead, but I do always put them back on the lead when we approach people as I am well aware that some people do not like dogs. The people were honestly just not up for a simple hello or good morning. But thank you for the comment.
Really enjoyed this I love this place. I am travelling there tomorrow was just thinking watching your video tomorrow afternoon will be at the spots you have filmed. Your video has captured its beauty perfectly 😊
Thank you for the kind comments ,we loved it and are planning to going back again this year. Have the best time it really is a beautiful area. ❤️
That looks a lovely site! Thanks for sharing 🚍☀️
It's perfect for doggie walks 👍🏻
Enjoyed the video, looked a lovely stopover, looks like you enjoyed yourselves! Missed the doggies x
It's never the same without the Dogs with us. It was a very nice stopover. Thank you for watching and the nice comment. x

Thanks. I am a bit of an Adidas nut .
Hi U2, new subscriber here and really enjoying your channel. Thanks very much. I’m only about four videos in and I was thinking maybe for new viewers you should do a playlist and do your videos from the beginning to the end it just helps when you do a binge watch LOL thanks and keep up the great work
That's great advice thank-you. We are learning all the time and appreciate the help.
Thank you
You're welcome and thanks for watching.
Looked like an amazing trip, thanks for the video 🚍
It truly was amazing ,thanks for watching. 😊
Great video we are catching the DFDS ferry in April From Frederikshavn to Oslo . So this was very interesting the ship looks great
The ship really is spot on it has everything you need. Have a great time Norway is just amazing.
We can’t wait our plan is to visit the Arctic circle visitor centre on May the 1st when it opens
+@paulhumphrey3402 When you head north after Trondheim there is a place called Grong we stopped to service the van there. It is a free stop that also has free electricity. It is on Park 4 night . You will have an amazing time and we are jealous. 😁
Thank you so much for the information it’s appreciated. Are you on instagram?
I found you on Instagram we are Paul and Gills adVANtures I can’t find the Grong free aire on park for night
Greetings from New Zealand. Have just found you guys and having a binge watch. We just did Norway in winter and it was stunningly beautiful. Would love to go back in summer for a totally different experience one day. Looking forward to seeing your adventures.
Thank you for watching. Yes Norway is absolutely amazing. We also would love to go back and see the midnight sun. New Zealand would be something else aswell maybe one day we will see your beautiful country. Our daughter has been and it looked incredible.
Excellent - thanks for doing that climb for me so i don't need too 😂 stunning scenery 😊
It was so worth it and very steep, I still ache 😂. Thank you for the comment.
Looks like a lovely town 👍 we paid 11 quid for a pint (well 500ml of course 🙄🤣) in tromso last year! Norwegian minumum wage is double what ours is so everything is pretty much double the cost of UK - however its an amazing country and they obviously respect all that they have. Loving the vlogs - thank you x
11 quid wow. Yes it's a lovely country and we would love to go back one day. Thank you for the comment. x
So worth it, the best country we have visited. Pure, clean, friendly, and amazing.
I wtch alot of your videos what is the best camer do you use ?
We have recently changed from a Go Pro to a DJI Pocket 2 and we are very happy with it.
Glad you guys had a good time here in Bergen🙂
What a lovely place to live, such a fantastic country.
Excellent vlogs ❤ just watching your back catalogue 👍 done quite a lot of your Alsace, Germany trips (including the Puttgarden ferry to Rodby) .so was nice to refresh my memory on how wonderful it all is. We have been lucky enough to have toured Denmark and it's definitely one for the list if you get chance. Norway is on our list for a longer Moho trip, but the kids school and our work keep us on a tight leash for the next couple of years 😢 keep on vlogging guys x
Thank you for the nice comment. Europe in the Motorhome is just the best as you know. We did end our Norway trip with a couple of nights in Denmark and yes it is definitely on the list of places to go. We were the same as you with the children but it looks like later this year we may be able to travel full time, something we have wanted to do for a while. 🤞So hopefully the camera and editing skills will improve. 😂 Thanks for following us. If you have a channel let us know and we will follow you. x
Great video can I ask the name of the campsite with the waterfalls thanks
Thank you, the campsite was called Tvinde Camping
In 2033, if all goes to plan, you can drive an even longer tunnel. The Rogfast project includes a 26.7km long dual tube subsea tunnel. It will be around 390m below sea lever at its deepest. Unfortunately not going to be cheap. Probably double the ferry price it replaces.
I have just looked this up and wow thank you for the info. Norway has an incredible network of tunnels it really is the best country we have driven its just spectacular.
Loving your videos we are going April next year planning to get to the Arctic circle visitor centre on opening day May the first .
You will love it ,Norway is by far the best place we have been in the Motorhome. Glad you are liking our trip and thank you for the comment.
What a stunning church and your choice of background music really suited it. Loved the way they have presented the old headstones. The colours of the rivers were amazing to see! Thanks for sharing 🚍☀️
Thank you for the lovely comment, Norway was just incredible and these Stave Churches were simply stunning.
The difference in colors between the two rivers is due to the different densities & temperatures of the two rivers along as with the difference of sediment & content between the two rivers. I read about this once before & couldn't quote remember why so I had to Google it again. I'm sure there are other things that have to do with it but what I put above were the main reasons listed supposedly. You are right though nature is pretty weird but also incredible! The Lord definitely did an amazing job with plenty of things that still perplexes us today! It's really amazing that a church that old is still in existent! That's pretty incredible too! Quite an amazing build!! Wish you could have gone inside! 😊❤
How interesting and thank you for the info on how it occurs, truly fascinating. It would have been nice to actually go inside the church as from outside it was incredible. 😊
How is it going?- Touing, professional footage~)
+Prohodaction Great Thanks
Next time, you should try our local Aspall cider and you can even drive passed the distillery
We do love an Aspalls will look up the distillery.
@@touringtroughtons if you're driving from Ipswich or further south you turn right off the A140, then if you continue on that country road you'll come to Thornham Magna again :).
Careful on that road, they drive like maniacs. Getting homesick now, living in Essex, but I'm moving back home to Suffolk next month
Suffolk is a stunning county, you are very lucky.
@@touringtroughtons it is. I can't wait to move back, from Essex. I'll be moving to Lowestoft cos I miss the coast. I'm going to Yarmouth with my kids on the 28th for their Fairground freights at their amusement park, will be fun
My husband used to work there. It's a lovely pub. I'm hoping you got to meet the owners. Tom, his partner and Tom's parents. Did toy meet Dennis, their cute doberman?
I did chat to who i thought was the owner but didn't get his name. We hope to return before the end of the year it is a lovely pub. Didn't see the Doberman but would have loved to as we adore dogs.
@@touringtroughtons Dennis is at the back. My kids loved cooing over him.
I live in huelva
What a lovely area to live in.
Fabulous trip and great resource for our own upcoming trip. Thank you muchly.
Have a great time and thank you.
What an interesting place! That lady was so lovely explaining everything to you.
She was so nice and rightly proud of her husbands skills.
Thanks for showing us Fussen. We only drove through after visiting the Neuschwanstein. It looks beautiful! How can you compare German food to a mixed grill from Beefeater though 😂 The Lech falls were stunning 🤩 Thanks for sharing 🚍☀️
Fussen was a good end to the trip. The beefeater comment is just my sense of humour 🤣. Thanks for watching and commenting ,what a beautiful road trip it was. 👌🏻
Another interesting one, nice town all the better when there’s a bit of a festival going in the sun…food drink 😎
It always helps ,the people were also really nice and it felt right to stay and soak it up. 🍻☀️👌🏻
Fantastic vlog 😍 🍻🍾
Thank you so much 👍🏻
What a beautiful day for exploring RodT! It absolutely persisted it down when we visited 😂 Thanks for showing us round. We spent most of our time at the Medieval Festival there. That was fun! We visited Dinkelsbühl rather than Nordlingen, so it was good to see the town. Thank you 🚍☀️
We stayed the night at the P2 Aire it was such a good location, we had glorious weather for the whole trip. Stunning town and a memorable road to travel. Thanks for the comment. Maybe we will be near Holmfirth soon 🤣 🚐❤️🍻
I very nearly turned off when you whinged about the stellplatz and then the wine on the bridge, but you redeemed yourself 😂 Thanks for the memories of our trip last year. We absolutely loved Würzburg ❤
When you weigh it all up its a fantastic place to stay for the night with its proximity to the Alte Mainbrücke ,the wine was an absolute must and I should have mentioned how easy it was to return and get the refund for the glasses. We did love Wurzburg there was a lot we couldn't publish due to alcohol and slurry commentary. 😄 Thanks for the comment. 🚐❤️🍻

Guys did something happen to the end of the vlog or do I need a new telly….🙈
Just noticed it ends but carrys on blank ,I will have to clean that up. 🤣 Thanks for pointing it out.
That was great little town to visit guys, good to see you’ve got a ‘chariot’ for Diesel we have one for our dog Billy who’s 18 now and gets a bit tired from walking, it also doubles up as a trailer on the back of my mountain bike as well. Keep the vlogs coming 👍
Thanks for the comments. The chariot also double up as a bike trailer just need a bike 🤣 18 wow what type of dog is he?
@@touringtroughtons Hi Guys just watching part 2 of your travels another great town good to see the routes taken story telling makes a refreshing change, Ah yes Billy our dog he’s a poodle / Lhasa Apso cross still very healthy apart from his eyesight which he lost last year due to cataracts but too old to operate on safely. He is why for the foreseeable we stick to motorhoming in this country which we really enjoy…… Definitely get yourself some bikes really extends what and where you can go 👍
Great to see you enjoying yourselves back in Europe, been a subscriber from the beginning….next time you go shopping pick up a couple of lapel microphones for when your driving as it sounds like you’ve got your head in a bucket without them 😂 Keep it up 👍
Yep ,definitely on the shipping list. We have some new tech arriving today maybe it will help. Thanks for the advice.😄

Hi do not get actual card from the machine ? First time using
Hi Rob ,we ordered ours online it arrived within 3 days. You can also pay on arrival I believe but you have to contact them through the intercom button at the entrance. There is also the app that you download. I hope you got in ok.
@@touringtroughtons all sorted now the machine at the barrier gave me a card 5 euros,,then 10 to put credit on in minimum,,

Hi, did you just arrive or prebook this place.? The wwbsite seems to be just in portuguese.
Hi , sorry for taking so long to reply, we are on another European road trip. We just arrived and did not have to pre book. It is a really lovely location and we would totally recommend a visit. If it is peak time maybe call ahead to book they did speak very good English.
