Its something called cogging,i had can be either the esc or the motor.in my kyosho mini inferno it was the esc to blame.if i were you i would try another motor to see if that one will work with the esc if not you know its the esc fault.

I had a similar issue and it was not moving at all and the reciever channel was unplugged...when you turn it on does it beep 3 times then a long one and its now not doing that then check the reciever

yer u need a new motor this happend to my other buggy sorry if you have to pay for a new one but that is what i did to fix mine

Same thing happened to mine I ran it with a 4s a few min later it stopped. I changed the motor and upgraded the fans since then no problems
