Im in Negombo in Sri Lanka , for 2 days. I go and visit the beach where all the fish are dried and prepared .After i go to a Budhist temple .The next day I go and see the local fisherman and I go on there catamaran boat , never seen anything like it

We went from Pattaya to koh larn on a speed boat , had a lovey lunch on the beach and swam in the beautiful sea

We go to the East side of Pattaya where there is an elephant village called MONGCHANG CAFE. Here is is small zoo and then we watch a show starring ladyboys and the animals.

A speed boat ride to a beautiful island off koh samui . The island is full of pigs and they enjoy feeding time

A trip on our mopeds to a lovely cafe with beautiful views. Just round the corner is the famous zip line , no I didnt have a go .
Pathos buggy safari & a visit to the animal sanctuary

i travel around on a buggy and visit the famous ship wreck and then onto the Adonis falls where i swam in the freezing cold pool . then next day a quick visit to the Pathos animal sanctuary where there are dozens of dogs

Wos at halton in 74 passed out than went 2 marham O U C victor tankers mk 2 than 55 squadron great days
Passed out on that parade ground in 1982 134 entry apprentices. Still in touch with the lads after 40 plus years. Greatest 3 years

That brings ack a lot of memories. I graduated in December 1962 with the 94th entry. A proud moment.
I passed out may 2000 had a puma helicopter fly past. My block was spitfire block right next to the parade hanger and it had 4 man rooms loved it.
I was Christmas pass-out Swinderby 87.
I left RAF Halton in 1988.. congratulations 🎉

6.28 paddy husks which are made 98% Silicon were used to make the first glass in the world. The method used was ion exchange but no trace exists of the method used. Articles recovered in the Godawaya wreck shows Sri lanka glass was packed into ships being taken to Rome. It appears the romans were bringing wine in exchange for glass!

When I finished my square bashing in 1955 at Padgate it was called a Passing Out Parade not a graduation and there no cameras.
Where is our diversity here..Patriotism is left to our own as usual.Especially as what is happening in the Ukrain.God bless them all.
When I passed out was over 200 personelle,full flights of wrafs. Every week after Falklands war.
