I just applied to a fraud investigator position. I am way under qualified compared to Brian, but I am hopeful. I was a state court officer (sworn, arrest powers etc) for 4 years but just had to medically retire at 25. I just finished a Bachelor's in CJ, and I also have refund fraud investigation experience.

Want to pile on that a lot of military folks think long work days are unique to the military. If anything our schedules are shorter than some of our civilian peers. We are so used to thinking "civilian jobs" = "GS civilian" and it isnt. Same with the idea that civilian jobs pay overtime. Salaried jobs that pay more than $36K a year are exempt from overtime and while service members might not know that, employers sure do. Do some pay overtime? Absolutely. Do they have to? Absolutely not.

Anyone else when trying to login gets redirected and booted out to a “service now” site essentially login you out instead? This site is all around terrible. It’s like terrible on purpose to discourage you.

This site is kind of terrible. Went through the process only to get a giant red bar across the top saying use passed the date for the FY.

Thanks for making this video. I am currently transitioning within the next 15 months. I am going with this program but my issue is that I will have my cybersecurity degree by that time but have no certifications and this has been my fear as I know that certifications speak in higher volume than just a degree. What is your advice for me... I plan to live in VA in the Richmond area.
