You need shop right after barracks for heal salve and clarity pot, do it before tech so your hero can stay in the fight. Hit hide heal repeat, losing too much time running home with low health to have no way of healing there

individually moving units out of danger using a unit or hero to body-block to save a unit creep management.. you surrendered 2 items to the opponent from creeps, you might have gotten them if you had your hero standing right next to the creep. but also, that would be riskier. also, speed scroll to save units but also this fast expand is challenging to counter. that's where it all goes wrong. knowing you are against HU, you might also try fast expanding to equal their economy but I don't know how feasible that is. Otherwise, um, getting panda 2nd so you can use breath of fire on their peasants and army is a go-to thing against human

just better practice and micro would tip the scales here. keeping your heroes alive was the important part. Using the burrows earlier would have been good. I mean maybe he would still have won, I don't know, but I still had hopes until your heroes died. also, don't call him trash and lame, he won fair and square. and by not trying his strategy, you're handicapping yourself

yes, you definitely missed some things. I can tell based on you saying you do not understand at all, that, this was a frustrating game in the way it ended, and that I can at least point out the things that really seem obvious to me. Your opponent had a Huuuuuge economic advantage, because they expanded early, and then you mostly left them alone while they grew and grew. Even though their army didn't look like much, the thing was that either they were already sending more units, or, could quickly / immediately replace any that died. also, even though the big battle looked even, his army was built to last a long time in a fight. He could micro his units back, where his priests could heal them. Riflemen have substantial HP for ranged units, so, they aren't so hard to micro. Your investment into bloodlust ended up not helping you at all because of his spellbreakers. His strategy was to make a second base early, defend it, and with his extra riches, out-pace you. You knew he had a second base but simply killed a few more creep camps, and didn't bother expanding, and also didn't go on the offense. I think that committing to killing his 2nd base, combined with offensive towering, would be the way, but, I have not played in years, and when I did, I wasn't that good. I just watch games from time to time. Hope this helps!

I think that the outcome was mostly determined by his overall skill being better. His upgraded hh simply applied better damage than your grunts could possibly. You needed speed scroll to pull off melee assassinations whether on his heroes or on his units. I haven't played in several years, and when I did play, I was never that good, actually. Worse than you most likely. But I speak from what I've learned watching pro play. It's like nostalgia to watch. This makes me want to play again, I would be far less frustrated than I used to be. Because I now feel like I have more perspective. Of course, it would take practice and I don't know if I have the dedication, but, I am actually very inspired. grunt raider can definitely destroy hh, but, he got the kill on your level 3 FS and from there he pressed his advantage to win. I get the feeling your opponent just has more practice, and better map control, and, even though he made blunders, he also made some good plays. His wolves did serious damage to your econ at one point, while you were distracted fighting, almost like he didn't mind if he lost the fight as long as he killed some peons.
