Because my in-game framerate is limited to 60 fps by v-sync my GPU clock speed regularly sits in the 1900-2200MHz range. As the card ramps up to the 2600-2800MHz range that's when you see my GPU temp go towards 70 degrees and my GPU Hotspot temp go over 95. The GPU fan is on it's default curve, in the 1400-1600RPM range (40-55% Fan speed) which is roughly 38-41dB so a more aggressive custom fan curve could help low temps too.

@kilnerdyne ok understandable I have the same card and I undervolted mines ... min 2400 max 25000 mbh 1120 power Max and I get 61 degrees for the gpu and 82 for the hot spot . If I didn't undervolt I would be at well over 105 for my junction temp in a case with the side panel off

@@ekkla85 Hottest I've seen my Junction Temperature was 86 degrees during an overclocked test run of Kombuster Furmark. My GPU Hotspot however reached 103.9 during the same 30 minute test. I've been doing research on PTM7950 & different Thermal Putty, I applied it to my card just the other night and I'll hopefully be bringing out a video on my results in the next month or so. I want to do a comparison between Before, After & 1 month After.

@kilnerdyne I stand corrected I meant hot spot. I'm confusing the terms. If I ever get some extra cash I'm going to buy an alphacool aio for the gpu to test! Nice vids btw

@@ekkla85 I can see the Reference, Nitro, Merc & Taichi water blocks from Alphacool for the 7900 XTX but I can't find the Phantom Gaming version. Oh thanks :-) I'm hoping to play through the rest of the game.

That's awesome! I've just ordered a RM1200 Shift PSU that's arriving on Thursday. It's complete overkill but it was on sale. Not expecting performance to increase but it'll be a heck of a lot better than my current PSU.

Really happy with the 7900XTX so far and at £858 it has excellent 1440p & 4K performance! Planning on playing this game to the end. Bundling it with the card did add some value to the purchase too.

@@Glaiceana I just finished a 2nd Cyberpunk playthrough! I went slow-time melee stealth build this time it was awesome, that game is sooo good. I'm gonna stream some Avatar in about an hour, it's a nice break from ESO. I took a break to play New World, did about 4,000 hours and now I can't play it ever again haha.

No temperature issues at all so far! I've read the same thing when I was researching the card. It seems to be a pump-out problem with thermal paste that can occur over an extended period of use. If my Hotspot temperatures start heading towards 100 degrees then I'll re-paste it with a PTM7950 phase change thermal pad. At the moment, temperatures on GPU, Hotspot & Memory Junction are around 60, 80 & 75 degrees so all good.

Yeah it took me 2 hours to get out of the starting area haha. Just looking at rocks & plants. I've enabled Frame Gen, changed Scaling Mode to Ultra Quality and now I'm sitting in the 65-80fps range.

Our score here was 61k yes, but the cut-off point for a Gold run in Genesis is 40k I believe.

Hey Masulovsky, the Corrupted Heart Replicas are the only crafting Style to have the reduced range of 597-600. They also have a reduced Perk bucket too which you can view here: nwdb.info/db/recipe/2hwarhammercrafteddungeon9t5

@@masulovsky9458 If you forced the Perk for Enchanted there would be a fairly high chance of getting Enchanted + Corrupted Bane + Keenly Jagged/Empowered. But I would wait until the new crafting changes arrive. It could be that Empowering shooter's stance perk on musket becomes bis for PvE. Although in general I still think Bow is much much better than musket as both a ranged weapon & secondary weapon.

If you damage the boss too much it will skip the final beam phase. A lot of the time it's faster to wait for the boss to do a beam and then nuke it to 0%.

It was for PvE to try to roll a Trenchant + Ancient Bane + Keenly/Chain WH. The hammers only cost 10asmo per compared to 15asmo for a non-replica hammer.

Cuz these dungeon gears have a much smaller perk pool.

With fraps, whilst recording i'd say 22-40fps depending on the zoom level. Without fraps 45-60fps. Fraps recorded the video at 60fps, full-size.

It's recorded using Fraps, it was almost exactly a year ago so I'm afraid I can't remember the settings i used. And ive never used shadowplay so I couldn't say.

ah ok. i see. maybe consider trying it? its apparently more optimized than fraps. less loads. without fraps can you run this game maxed out with no lag?

I'm playing Total war: Rome II at the moment on my GTX 660 and i5 2500k and it's pretty awesome. Fraps does give you a noticeable drop when recording though so i'll look into trying this shadowplay. Thanks :) Unfortunately I don't play coh II anymore.

gah what a shame. Maybe just run the game and have it autodetect? id like to know what settings you can get!
