they are on a standard 1987 Fender Strat plus, using bridge pickup ,some delay and some small compression during recording. I use Elixir 11-49 nanoweb strings and a .73 Dunlop pick, all though a Peavey Classic 30 valve amp. The Lace's are quite bright but tone down ok to suit with the tone controls. they are also great using sustain. They are also 100% quiet, no buzz or hum and great for recording.
