Well yeah , you’ve pretty well demonstrated the thrown knife will kill if it hits correctly , but if it misses you’ve tossed away what I would presume was your only effective weapon . If I’m down to only an edged weapon as an option , I’d hang on to it , you can get in multiple strikes if needed.

This is the video that convinced me to take up knife throwing two weeks ago. I'm not GOOD at it but it sticks into wood more often than not... When I'm standing right next to it :p. I'm not even sorry for cheating because it's fun, it gets me out of the house, and learning a skill has been good for me.

Took me a while to get used to letting go when it feels way early, but once you get it figured out and practice, you can get oddly proficient, super fast. And its fun to do in front of someone and them be like...😮dafuq?! 😂

YES, and I know that they can kill when being thrown as I’ve done it to a Whitetail deer before. Long story, but my friend that was hunting with me (his deer that he spined but was out of any more reloads until we got back to camp) and he wanted me to shoot it with my muzzleloader but I didn’t want to clean 2 of them, so I threw MY K-Bar directly into the chest from about 5yds and THEN we only had 1 deer to clean and I only had 1 rifle to clean!

You are right. That K-Bar to the face may not have killed but that person is not fighting this fight anymore.

It seems that you would need to strap on a pair of sheep, one in front and one on your back, to have enough wool to stop that rifle ball.
