I didn't think I knew that much about John Lennon until I actually listened to and became absorbed in Across the Universe. The song is about who he is, as experienced in deep meditation. He describes what it's like to meditate starting with an open mind and experiencing thoughts, feelings and emotions and on to heavenly realization of Bliss Consciousness. Any soul that can have that experience is blessed.
