It's really hard to say! This is quite a balanced list, so it should work well in most situations. But in 2v2 I think it is more about finding the best synergies with your teammate, or just having fun in general :)

Thank you! For 1,000 points I would probably do something like: 20 Poxwalkers with Typhus (280), 10 Poxwalkers (50), 6 Deathshroud with LoC and assault enhancement (305), Myphitic Blight Hauler (90), Nurglings (40), Wardog Brigand (165), Tallyman with enhancement (70). Hope this helps :)

It's a mixture of the GW snow paint, UV resin ice crystals, and blue glow in the dark rocks :)

I think all 3 options do well in most match-ups. I prefer running the spewers because it is great at going after light infantry and has a decent overwatch threat :)

I'm not sure if there is any benefit to running the MBHs in groups. Points-wise it costs the same to run them separately and there aren't any stratagems that would benefit a bigger unit. I think they are better to run in groups on the Plague Company detachment. Yeah, going into something like Mortarion would be extremely difficult haha. Best bet would be unit of Deathshroud with LoC. On average he would only be able to take out 2-3 a turn. Whoever rolls the most invuls would win!

A fair assessment you're absolutely correct BUT with DP and mortarion (or miasmic malignifier) blightlords will be -1 hit -1 wound for 1cp 2+ 4++ 6+ fnp with benefits of cover. As attacking with a LoV they will be reroll hits for 1cp twin linked which with spewers, autocannons and combi is pretty decent dev wounds potential? I mean we all know the detachment isn't great but it's what we got.

@@TheKlawwGang-n7n I quite like the detachment and think it has play, it's no Plague Company but it's not garbage like some are saying. But I personally think throwing even more points at BLTs t make them good isn't worth it. I'm taking 10 with a LOC and just using them like that (they need a new dataslate so here's hoping they get a rule that does something). I think the DST and Poxwalkers really pop off in this detachment, use a few MBHs to support them for -1 wound. Sorcerers in the DST to make them -1 hit, -1 wound , -1 damage. That's where I'd go.

Wow, that is a massive win! I think MBHs have to be our new action monkies. That would probably be the easiest way to get value from them, aside from the -1 wound strat. I think you would get more value running them separately in this detachment as they can't benefit from any of the strats. I plan on using a Demon Prince next game :) The idea of -1 hit, -1 wound, 4+ invul and 6+ FNP on Deathshroud sounds really fun! I personally don't think there is any need to bring cultists in this detachment. We don't really benefit from securing objectives early game and the -1 to hit doesn't help them a whole lot haha.

Thank you! Yes absolutley! Main thing to note is that in the new detachment, the Predator Destructor, Chaos Spawn, and Bloat Drone don't get access to any of the new strats. So I would probably consider swapping them out for something :)

100% The deployment and going first played a huge part in denying primary.

I tried 10-man Blightlords with LoV, 6-man DS with LoC, 3-man DS, 20-man Poxwalker with Typhus, 10-man Poxwalker, 10-man PM with Tallyman, Biologus and Rhino, MBH, 10-man cultists, Bloatdrone, Destructor, Brigand, and 2 3-man Nurglings

To be honest I don't think he even considered moving backwards with them. But that would have been the best play he could have made!

It's a nice little Christmas gift isn't it! You are probably right, there are a few more units that I would need to stock up on if I wanted to get the most out of Flyblown Host haha

@Rokkis_Gaming_Lounge well there ya go! I'm sure I'll be needed another unit or 2 for my Necrons as well. Which isnt a problem as I'm currently on a war path to acquire every ranging the range and enough units to make any list
