n54 exists, and beats this with a stage 1 ots... yeah forget the n52
It's not about being faster. N54 has Hella issues & turbos are fun... while they last.. 330i is the best all around BMW & is fast enough.
This supercharged n52 wont last as long as an n54 making the same power. I know because I have owned 250k+ mile n54's making 500+whp... Best all around bmw my ass, keep that slow turd for your girlfriend/daughter to learn how to drive in. @@AugustDreamScape

@@Delu_Dente2011 e90 M3, 2013 Audi s5. Not hating the temperature gauge appears to be running above the normal operating temperature.
@@anthonyjohnson9710 You are incorrect, the operating range for the N52 is up to 230F. And the E90 cluster reads oil temperature and not coolant. Hard to say with this modified M3 cluster but if it is reading correctly, it’s not overheating at all.

I have 2008 Z4 coupe unfortunately, it only comes with N52 it’s E86 chassis this car is great from every aspect. stiff chassis and lightweight Suspension is really good since it’s from the the E46 I replaced all the bushings with polyurethane I added H&R sway bars and lower the car on Bc coil overs and LSD from racing diffe

So how’s the insurance? Is it under the original e91 or m3? I ask because if something unfortunate happened how would the insurance see the car as? A e91 wagon or a m3?
Unless specified and listed with custom parts and some kind of proof of prices, most insurance companies will simply see it as a 2012 328i Sport Wagon. Even if you did specify all the extra custom things done to it, I believe they'll cap it at a certain point. BUT I'm pretty sure one would do something like this mainly for the enjoyment as an enthusiast. I'm a fan! I will be doing full M3 Exterior conversion to my 2012 E91 as well... still on the fence whether to go N54 8hp or S65 DCT.

Almost 500 hour of work for full swap. Trans mount will need to be fabricated for sure

Sorry for the delay, haha. It’s intensive. 200+ hours of mechanical time for swap, 200 hours for body work, 40 hours coding. Not for the faint of heart!

john tran , this is a N55 exhaust I had modified as refer to “PE mod”. I moved the charcoal canister to 335i spot and changed over all associate hardware (evap line, heat shields) as well as the M3 cargo tray in the trunk. I welded in SS quad tips to fit the DD diffuser I bought. A lot of work but well worth the efforts. Selling it if you’re interested!

@@bluem3wagon376 Thats super nice super glad to see that out of an n52 xdrive. was the torque output improved much/ different pattern from the normal power band? also I know you're engine swapping underway but do you think this setup could be reliable?
Trevor Boehm yeah I daily it, very reliable with the right tune. I wish there was someway to tune the GM auto transmission. Power band and torque curve keeps climbing through redline it has a lot left after 7k RPM.

@@bluem3wagon376 The only thing is to update the Gm trans with a factory update from the x3 or something that has an n52 with more power so the trans behaves better to the extra power you have now. Search on you tube the videos for ( Auto hut). That guy put a 3 stage on his n52 and also tweaked on his trans with a factory reflash to the Gm trans, I think it will help a bit not like the zf trans that has more control with mhd. You can try to ask him about it and I believe he sells the reflash too.

thugbir singh you’re aware it’s a supercharged N52 with a baseline of 170awhp? There’s been an increase of 150hp since SC install. It doesn’t rip the doors off but undoubtedly faster
