This was my first time riding this coaster, and I was pleasantly surprised, I usually don’t like the head banging on the more rigid restraints…🤦‍♂️😁

@@tecnica2001 The original Mind eraser at least made me feel super secure, there were a couple spots those "newer" seats gave me a shake, i get thats the design but was just unnerving in a couple spots. Wicked Cyclone is my go to these days, i do miss the old wooden cyclone that used to stand too.

To some it is, it depends on where you sit and how tall you are👍

It’s is truly a blast, they run Vimtage cars with Modern cars, and the silver can is the equalizer👍

It's just a matter of getting the minimum of enough racers at the track to buy a $18 motor and a $30 esc to run a class

He’s definitely running a Tamiya Torque Tuned motor, not sure about the ESC.

Not really, we gear the heck out of these motors, and retrofit a motor cooling fan to keep it from overheating😁👍

Haven’t had any 4wds and the trucks were running the sport tuned motors to even out the field, 2wd buggies run the torque tuned motors

I bent the nose plate to take away a bit of kick up, on turf I usually run 1 degree negative camber on all 4 corners, and usually glue the tire sidewall to dumb down the steering a bit😉👍

I fixed it so it will have very little bump steer, illl be testing it this Saturday, and see how it goes, stay tuned for a running video😁

Yes, you are correct….when the car is in motion, toe gain (in, or out) during up or down suspension travel, causes bump steer… didn’t use the term because the car was static and I was simply demonstrating how it would toe in and out when the suspension was goin up and down 😉👍

It’s a good handling car, I have to play a bit with oil weights and springs, it kinda digs in on tight corner, but is very fun to drive👍

The battery won’t fit under the belt without rubbing

It handles pretty good for what it is, and it turns on a dime left and right👍

If you notice the video where you run it every time it jumps it lands on the side where the battery is, there are several ways to remedy it, the easiest and most economical is to place the servo, receiver and esc on the side of the chassis where the motor is from the front to the back and the battery on the opposite side, keeping the chassis in a 50/50 distribution, you can also use 2 small lipos connected in parallel on each side of the belt , you can also copy the way that HPI has used since the mid '90s to be able to put the battery in the middle of the chassis without touching the belt.Keep experimenting and you will see that you can polish that diamond.🏆👍🏻🇵🇷

You know, I’ve owned every RC10 Truck except any of the 5 series cars, but for backyard dirt track, run some JConcepts Goosebump rear tires or Double Dees in Green Compound and some JConcepts Carvers front tires, white spring all around, assuming you’re running the 12mm shocks, 32.5wt oil up front and 30wt oil in the rear fort starters, and 1 degree camber all around, should get you going as a starting set up

@@tecnica2001 If memory serves, it was sold as a budget contender for stadium truck racing. It's funny that I have almost a complete new one (with the exception of the tub and gearbox) sitting around.

We were all running Tamiya Torque Tuned Motors, as far as suspension setup, it’s basically stock setup with a variation of shock oil weight, maybe a bit heavier than factory spec

Mark cut and shut (glued together) regular 2.2 front tires and fit them onto the JConcepts narrow truck front wheels
