My mother passed on November first of this year (2024) this will be my first thanks giving without her , I miss her so much I can’t even go in her room without crying

For us boys, it was " don't jump in that dirty water because you will get lockjaw". I did jump in the dirty water and I never got lockjaw. My wife's mother would tell her kids not to eat cookie doh because they would get worms. They could also get worms from eating sunflower seeds.

When I was in third grade my friends(S & T) were bullying a disabled kid and I stopped them and started talking to the disabled(M) so when they started bullying her again I punched them and got my mom called and fast forward to when she picked me up Z & S’s moms came up to my mom and said that M deserves to be bullied and my mom said “just because she’s different doesn’t mean she’s not human”

Every time on way home mom would say "ok home ward bound" and I would reply "the incredible movie" if I didn't reply it she would check for fever and asks if anything is wrong health wise just like if I told her I was lacking sleep all plans got cancelled and we would go home while if was due to me feeling sick she would call my doctors with what she diagnosed it as if it required meds so they would either request we come in or send the script and give mom permission to ground me to bed 😅 how to tell you where sick very often 😅 and that lack of sleep ment no filter in action's or words and more likely to not focus on joints causing full dislocations out of no where so can't blame her on any of these they where pattern habits that let her check health without asking out right lol

McDonald’s, almost every fast food chain, t-shirts, some items in skincare and makeup like lip stains, lipgloss, and makeup brushes, basically everything we’ve come to know was at a good price for everyone until the government and those who think like them (aka rich people) decided they can make more profit out of it because it was either exotic, starting to get clout, or just something we enjoyed. I remember Champion was sold in Walmart at one point until it wasn’t. And some Nike stuff too. Some Puma shoes. Some athletic wear was also made relatively cheaper when I was growing up. Pretty much LIVING was add cheaper until apparently they make us forget for our place🙄🙄
