    a) Whom did the defeated dormaahene Kyereme Sikafo, who was before the war living at Suntreso near Kumasi, yes, whom did he lie down on the ground prostrate before them, begging them to spare his life? Answer: Kyereme Sikafo lay down prostrate on the ground before the War General Twumasi Ankrah of Juaben (Dwaben) and Osei Tutu I, then the chief of Kwaman--now called Kumasi, begging the two victors to not to kill him. Okomfo Anokye had to intercede for Kyereme Sikafo, before his life was spared. An egg was cracked on his head, he and his defeated dormaa were made vassals of Osei Tutu I and Dwaben. Kyereme Sikafo was then given the office of a soulwasher of Osei Tutu I. b) Who utterly burnt down old Suntreso, the former place of abode of the Dormaas? Ans: The Kwaman/Dwaben war coalition. The dormaas, then fled to the Ahafo area. c) When later Kyereme Sikafo rebelled, who decapitated him? Ans: Osei Tutu I and Twumasi Ankrah of Dwaben. d) Whom did his successor, dormaa kusi, serve and sworn allegiance to? Ans: King Osei Tutu I and Dwaben. Also, later after the death of Osei Tutu I, he swore allegiance to his successor, King Opoku Ware I. e) When later this dormaahene dormaa kusi rebelled, who defeated him in war and decapitated him? Ans: Asante with the Asantehene Nana Opoku Ware I, Okatakyie and King Osei Hwedie I. of Dwaben. f) Who utterly burnt down the former capital of the dormaas, known as Abanperedease, which then was situated in Ahafo North or Ahafo Ano district, near the towns of Derma and Takyimentia? Ans: Asante Troops. g) Who fled from their areas in Ahafo and sought shelter in Wam and even in the Ivory Coast, leading to them being mockingly and insultingly labelled or called cowards, with they being called the derogatory name of ''Gyaa-wo-man'', that is, ye, that have cowardly run away from your Oman/State, without defending it. Yes, that is the name the Wamhene gave them, which has survived to this day. These Pretender False so-called Bono wannabes are massively boring us nowadays. Yes, these of suma, drobo, dormaa, many but not all of gyaman and dwenem are all Not Bonos. They are all False Bonos. You know what, simply stop squatting on Wam, Tain lands, courtesy of the Asantehene's and Wamfiehene's magnanimity, pack up and go back to your Akwamu, where you all are truly from or originate from, since you all are in Truth, Akwamus by blood and origin. You lot of dormaa, drobo, suma, dwenem and many of gyaman--despite your pretences to be/your assiduous attempts at hoodwinking or tricking others, particularly the unknowledgeable to regard you as also Bonos--Are In Absolute Unequivocal Unchallengeable Truth, Not a Bono people. You came to live on at that area owing to the magnimity of the Asante (who did conquer the entirety of the territory now called Gyaman, of the French and British parts, twice. Firstly, conquering that place in the time of the Asantehene Nana Opoku Ware I and also, after the demise of the short-lived Asantehene Opoku Fofie. Hence, all of that territory and peoples, became the bonafide property of Asante by the Worldwide Accepted Legal Practice, of A Right of Conquest) and also, the magnanimity of the Wamfiehen, the True Owner of all the Wam lands, upon which this loquacious dormaahene and his dormaa people are now squatting upon, they being in truth, defeated in war refugees, who have usurped the rulership of Wam. Squatters, do not own the land and possess No Legal Right as per the Ownership of Land. Dormaa is a Squatter. The land of Wampamu, now called dormaa ahenkro, belongs to the Wamfiehene who is also known as the Mansenhene. The Wamfiehene is a Denkyira, not a dormaa, and he is of the Royal Agona Clan of Denkyira, not of the aduana abrade clan of dormaa, suma, drobo, gyaman and dwenem. You lot of suma, drobo, dwenem, gyaman and dormaa, should simply pack up, leave Wam and Tain lands and go back to your Akwamu, which is presently situate on the River Volta and includes Akosombo etc. Leave the misnomer of a region, the so-called Bono region and go to your Akwamufie. So stupidly. Instead of directing your efforts and anger at those who defeated and destroyed your Akwamu Kingdom in the 1730s to 40s, you rather are now picking up a beef with your Benefactor, ASANTE, which granted you lot an Asylum, after you lot of suma, drobo, dwenem and some of gyaman, fled or left your defeated and destroyed Akwamu Kingdom. You Are Not Bonos. Your desire, particularly of your brother and comrade in arms dancing with wampamuhene aka dormaahene and his dormaa people to impose yourselves on the True Bono people shall be shot down and shattered into irrecoverable smitherens. It will never work, shall never be attained, shall never come to fruition. The dormaahene's ardent quest to be made the Bonohene, shall never materialise. Go back to your Akwamu, you lawless bunch of thugs, so the Wams, Tains and True Bonos can have their peace and enjoy it perpetually. Bono was founded by Ohene Ameyaw and the Queenmother Dwamarawaa, all of the Oyoko clan. Bono was not founded by your Akwamus or you lot of the aduana abrade clan. The aduana abrade Never Had Any Association with Original Bono. The Techimanhene and Techimanhemaa Are The True Bonohene and Bonohemaa, which right they have to employ those titles, since they are the blood descendants of Ohene Ameyaw and Ohemaa Dwamarawaa of Original Bono, which had its capital of Bono Manso, in the present Nkoransa North District. dormaa, suma, drobo, dwenem and many of you the gyamans Will Never Be Bonos. Stop stealing the glory of the Bono people. Your lot Are Not the blood descendants of Original Bono and of Ohene Ameyaw and Ohemaa Dwamarawaa. You lot did not found or create Bono Kyempem Duodu Akwa Movement. Stop stealing and trying to usurp the Glory of Techiman--the Authentic Bono state, which is the legitimate successor to Original Bono. Bono Kyempem Duodu Akwa Movement was founded by the Techimanhene Akumfi Ameyaw in the 1940s/50s solely. It was not founded by your predecessor agyeman badu I, the wampamuhene aka dormaahene. Good riddance! Leave Wam, Tain and Bono, for the Wams and True Bono to have their peace and enjoy it perpetually. Akwamu is your homeland, by origin and blood. You all should pack up now and go there. Nsemfoo ara kwa!

History of Dormaa It is the real history of The now self acclaimed Dormaa people. I came to find out when I was doing my thesis. The original dormaa we knew spoke like a Asantes (because essumeja is where all Aduana people came from) before it was quenched and annihilated in suntreso some 300 hundred years ago by the Asantes because they were full of cowards. The remnants dispersed, some went back to Akwamu. Just a handful went to Gyaman kingdom, those who went to Gyaman were decimated in the Adinkra war. Accounts were that because of cowardice on the part of remnants of dormaa they were shitting themselves and some blew themselves up when they heard about the drums of the Asantes. This is because they fled suntreso because of fierce nature of the Asante war machine. From suntreso they started giving names like Ansu, Ansua, and the likes because of the devastating nature of the war. After the Adinkra war a new set of non Akans who the Gyamans had brought from the present day Cote D'Ivoire to assist them against the Asantes now got up and started claiming to be the old dormaa which had been wiped out. These people were not even Akans. They used to be called wampaamu people, (because the wamfie people gave them the land) and their chief was called wampaamuhene. That's the truth. These non Akans wanted to assert themselves on the wamfie people and take possession of the land which was given to them by the chief of the wamfie, so they changed the name to dormaa. This is very true and it is evident in the fact that they speak a language which very different from what the true Dormaa spoke. These people are not even Akans let alone be part of the Aduana clan. Because when people migrate, they take their language with them, for example the new juaben, the worawora, the northern fraternity in the south, the hausas of Ghana etc . Even the language of the so called Chief of Dormaa say it all. It is different from that of Akwamu who they claim to be a brother to, it is different from essumeja etc. It is time for the wamfie people to realize that, their rightful place in the world is been taken from them. This so called chief is preventing the chief of wamfie from been elevated to omanhene

Some historical facts and contributions from Bono 1. Aside Guans, Bono people were the first to cross the Black Volta river southwards to settle in Ghana formerly Gold Coast after the migration from Old Ghana empire. Also the first among Akans to settle down. The term Akan was neologized from Bono due to the fact of being first to settle. 2. Bono is the birth place of majority of Akandoms. Historically it is believed the exodus of Akan subgroups own it to Bonomanso, the capital of the primordial Bono kingdom. 3. Traditionally, majority of Akan practices being it custom, beliefs and culture have its starting point from medieval Bono settlements. 4. The art of weaving, blacksmithing and brass casting in Akan evolved from medieval Bono kingdom. Weaving of Kente was a major industry at Bonomanso, a very bid industry in Bondoukou/Bontuku at the Gyaman kingdom. Blacksmithing was a very big industry at the Tomfoɔ quarters in Begho, present day Nsawkaw. Brass casting workshops were located closer to Bonomanso, the common among them was Aburasefoɔ. The remnants currently live in Buoyem. Ahwene Koko at Old Wenchi was also a spot for brass casting. 5. The use of gold in making ornaments to adorn kings, queens, chiefs and traditional rulers, decorating state emblems firstly emanated from Bono. It is believed gold was discovered in the early days of Bono and in abundance. This corroborates the popular Akan aphorism of Bonohene Kwakye Ameyaw "Kwakye adeɛ a ɛfɛ, yɛde sika ne yɛ", to wit, beautiful things of Kwakye are made with gold. Likewise "Ameyaw odi sika atomprada" meaning Ameyaw who spends fresh gold but once. 6. State swords traditionally called Afena were first introduced by Bonohene Afena Yaw in the 15th century. The Afena in the past and present days are used in every corner of Ghana. 7. Umbrellas in the type of Bamkyinieɛ or Bi da bi akyi (double decker umbrella) used at durbars, public gatherings for traditional rulers in Ghana were introduced by Bonohene Akumfi Ameyaw ll in the 17th century. The Bi da bi akyi is an emblem of Techiman Traditional Council. 8. Most Akan drums own its attribution to Bono people. This was partly influenced by trading activities of Bono with the people of Western Sudan or North Africa. The likes of Atumpan and Fontonfrom drums own it to Bonohene Akumfi Ameyaw l and Bonohemaa Ameyaa Kesse in the second quarter of 14th century. 9. The popular Adinkra symbols were created by Bono people of Gyaman. The Gyamanhene Nana Kwadwo Agyemang Adinkra believed to have designed these symbols and named it after himself. The symbols today have a global recognition and are used in pottery, clothing, branding, etc. 10. The popular Twi language was stemmed from the name of Bono Techiman king, Nana Brempong Twi. It must be stated that Twi is a stool name in Techiman. Before the king appended his name "Twi" to the Bono dialect making it Bono Twi, and subsequently Akuapem Twi or Asante Twi, all the aforementioned dialects were represented in their raw form without the suffix Twi.

There are some chiefs in certain parts of the country, who are leaving in fool’s paradise. This chief is NOT one of them. For a chief, to always think about his people first, with the very very little resources he has. Whiles others have more, but always looking up to the government for handout and leaving in past glory, it’s a shame. Most chiefs in the greater Accra region are just a huge disappointment. They only ride in V8 and don’t even know what kind of education their children are receiving.
