Tom telesco was the beginning of the end bottom line. He got AP fired

It had nothing to do with the OC. Yeah, we could have done better with Kliff or Chip, but the bottom line is AP was not ready to be a HC. Even in his interim position - when he did when some games for us - you could tell he was not ready from the way he called a game... like the time we got a turnover right before the half in FG position with time to run some plays and he just settled for running the clock out and kicking a FG. There are many examples - I'm sure every Raider fan can think of plenty. That was the big issue - he was just not ready. He also seemed to get stuck on one player being "the guy" and running with him no matter what - like Minshew. He didn't win the QB position in camp (AP himself later said that was a "mistake"). And the most egregious one - Zamir White. Holy cow - how many 1yd runs did AP need to see before figuring out this guy is just not the bell cow RB? He just kept wasting play after play handing off and getting nothing. There's more - but we all saw it. I think AP never gets the job if not for Mark making the mistake of firing Bisaccia. He didn't want to repeat the same mistake, but giving AP the reigns was not the way to fix that.

We need a bridge QB. A solid experienced starter like Russell Wilson and draft a Jaxson Dart to learn the nuances of the game under him. We need to strengthen our interior O-line trade Andre James and let JPJ run center. Lets draft best available and get our QB in the 3rd rd. We need to be spenders in FA no more penny pinching.

AP and company made horrible decisions especially at OC. On top of that his gameday decisions were stupid. Going for it on 4th and 1 from your own 30 against the chargers. Not going for it on 4th and goal down 10 against the Steelers when you weren't able to sniff the redzone all game long. The worst part is he always deflected and avoided responsibility. To be a coach you have to be accountable and take measured risks. He also was terrible with time management. The game that stands out the most was KC 15 seconds left 3rd down you kick the FG why you may ask because if something goes wrong you have 4th down to try again. SMH

I feel that the Raiders don't need to draft a quaterback. The Raiders should trade AOC & a 2nd round draft pick to New England for QB Joe Milton III. Milton has a big arm for the Raiders old school vertical deep strike pass game & Milton is a mobile quaterback that's also Lamar Jackson Esque. AOC will fit perfectly in New England because AOC already knows OC Josh McDaniels offense & that's the kind of quaterback Josh McDaniels prefers quaterbacks that know his offense. Josh McDaniels drafted AOC. Tom Brady loves Joe Milton III. Please GM John Spytek make this trade happen.

AP was an embarrassment , especially after talking so much in the off season -I mean he definitely couldn’t back it up! All those coaches behind him and he could win games or even manage one!😮He made Michael Lombardi look like a smart former GM! That was hard to say but it’s was the truth! AP was sabotaged by Telesco. Telesco did nothing to help the team. He hired Getsy and Minshew. Telesco ruined the Kingbury deal, which was in place before Telesco was hired. Bowers fell into Telescos lap in the draft.

I had to turn off this BS off in the 1st minute! AP hired those coaches that you claim let him down. He threw AOC, the guy who helped land the job by throwing him under the bus and putting faith in a backup QB who sucks! AP is not Head Coach material, you should be ashamed of yourself...

This was one of the toughest years to watch and that’s saying a lot being a long time raiders fan. I didn’t want AP at all and how crosby strong armed Davis to keep this guy will never sit right with me. At least we’re acting like a proper organization for now which gives me some hope. Let’s get a qb and return to relevance!

All of your points are valid but the reality is that AP could have turned in a perfect season and his days were already numbered by letting Tom The Snake Brady into the building. APs learning curve just made it easier for them to justify doing it now. And that might be APs biggest lasting contribution to the team, Because It goes without saying that having an inexperienced coach helped make extremely experienced coaches look like the way to go. APs failing is he was out of his depth. How many times have you ever seen someone jump from LB coach to first time head coach? Honestly I would like to see him come back and learn as an assistant under Pete, but AP seems like the type of guy who is going to let his ego be bruised by this and wont consider taking a demotion. Ultimately APs fate was decided by BTS inter office decisions. AP just did very little to help his case. I think he would have done better if he would have stuck to his guns and stuck with AOC. That would have not been the solution but we might have gotten to a much better start to the season which is what caused the dominios to start to fall.

He was setup for failure from the start

AP made mistakes but he was set up for failure plus they didn’t believe in him. Only a 2yr contract what coach does that only offering OC’s 2yr contracts. He would have been better off hiring Hue Jackson and Tolesco not even trying to bring Jacobs back and not signing any of our guys for the future

I don't know if you've checked out Seth Henigan from Memphis! I just heard about him 2 weeks ago and I watched some of his game tape. And to say he's underrated is a understatement! He legit! He's a athletic version of Derek Carr! He reminds me of Derek Carr because he does a lot of good plays but he also does a lot of bone-headed stuff! And a lot of his bone-headed decision making is because of his footwork just like Derek Carr and he just throws the ball up not reading the defense!

Injuries, 49ers won 6 game and they were in the Super bowl last year. Detroit won 14 game and got blown out in the playoffs injuries. The fact that the Raiders actually finish where they were predicted to finish says it all. AP was the coach he has to take the blame for sure. BUT a huge problem was injuries. My opinion
