Roxy, I think Latino or Latina means from a place of Latin rooted spoken languages (like spanish and portuguese), whereas Hispanics are only of Spanish root language countries originating from Spain. ...So, Brazilians and the Portuguese are considered Latinos but are not Hispanic, because their country's official language is portuguese which does come from latin roots but is not spanish, whereas people from Spain, Colombia, and Cuba etc... are considered both Latinos and Hispanics because those countries all officially speak spanish, which comes from latin roots and originated from Spain. Therefore, the people from those countries are considered both Latinos and Hispanics. 🙂🫂🎉

Okay, let's see if I can remember all my favorite shows from this year: The Old Man, The Penguin, Fallout, SWAT, The Equalizer, Too Hot To Handle, Love On The Spectrum, La Brea, Quantum Leap, For All Mankind, Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker, Snowpiercer, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Parish, Echo, Superman & Lois, Teacup, Scare Tactics, American Godfathers: The Five Families, Cobra Kai, Alex Rider, and Interview With The Vampire. I'm also currently getting caught up on The Acolyte. I only have 2 more episodes to go, but I'm digging it so far. I don't know what all the hate was about. Granted, it's a flawed show, but it's not nearly as terrible as so many people were making it out to be. I wanted to add Monarch: Legacy of Monsters to the list, but I'm not sure if it still counts since only the last 2 episodes aired this year. There might be more shows than all these, but this is what I could think of off the top of my head. And Steph, if you're reading this, I enjoyed your reaction with Kristen to F9, but if I may ask, how come you were acting like you never saw it before and didn't know the backstory with Han? Didn't you, Roxy, and Dorina see it when it came out? All 3 of you liked it from what I remember. Did you forget everything? lol

This year (unless my cousin is hosting again, which I don't think they are...), for myself, I am cooking up some store-bought meatloaf, and making a mac and cheese with 2 parts Havarti, 2 parts Gouda, 1 part Monterrey Jack, 1 part Extra Sharp Cheddar, 1 part Pepper jack, 1 part Gruyere, and 1 part Jarlsberg. The first four I have used before, the last three are new, so this should be an interesting blend.

I would hang out with you ladies just because I know you'd both would just be that fun to be around. Add Steph and Achara into a girls day together and I'd watch that.

I'm sorry if I was overly negative last week. I'm not handling this election outcome too well. Granted, I stand by everything I said, but I don't like to spam the comments with my tirades. Since I was so busy raging about that orange asshole and his ridiculous cabinet picks, I forgot to remind you two that you never got to that Buzzfeed story about sex positions. I wanted to know about that. As far as the Tiktok ban, the government wanted to ban it over concerns that the Chinese government is using it to spy on Americans since the company that owns it is based in China. The ban would be lifted if it sells the app to an American company or any company in a country we're cool with. I don't know, the whole thing is stupid. If China wants to spy on us, I'm sure they have better ways to do it than using an app with mostly dancing videos and cooking and makeup tutorials. There's very little China can gain from that lol. As far as TV, Silo and Lioness are up there for me to check out at some point. I'm on the fence about Dune: Prophecy, though. I like the movies, but I'm not crazy about them like everyone else is and the trailers for the show aren't really grabbing me. If I watch it, it won't be soon. I just watched the new batch of episodes of Cobra Kai and they're awesome. Episode 10 is especially nuts. Anyway, good show tonight, ladies, and have a safe Trip to Boston, Roxy.

Ok stop the press, possibly one of the sexiest moment in The Whirl Girls history. The two of you discussing how great the Lord of the Rings films are, rightly so. Hobbiton actually exists as a tourist attraction here in New Zealand. The Hobbit films are great fun but LOTR is a modern classic of cinema storytelling.
