Guys I am planning to install this mod as of 2025, are you guys still experiencing crashes?

That totally makes sense. Honda's latest fix is to inject a ton of grease into it, and also to replace the preload spring (the spring that pushes the worm gear onto the plastic gear) with slightly lower spring rate. I didn't want some random monkey touching my car, so I actually bought the recall kit and special tools, and did the work myself.

Apparently, I only get this issue in warm weather (2016 Civic) , without any noise that I can hear.

My friend had this too. He had a grounding issue.

I installed menyoo trainer which you have to hit the F8 key,but instead I am getting a black sreen asking me if I want to play online to login.What am I doing wrong here?

I have the same problem, my vehicle is not under warranty. Did the problem completely go away when I added grease?

Honda just did a recall on 24 HRV for this issue, I’m sure it’s the same problem.

Bro I replaced spark plugs, ignition coils, and camshaft position sensors, and it keeps reading misfire on cylinder 1,2 and 3 aswell as the CPS- A. Do you think it's a wire issue or it's the injectors?

If I change the grease in this gear set, will this steering rack be able to return to normal?

It is a great step you have done for everyone...Can I have a reference link to the forums where you are discussing this further? I used to own an FE 2022, which has encountered repeat failure of this part and frankly I sold my beloved car a few weeks ago out of sheer frustration. Honda has done nothing to address this, if you can say 2016 to 2025+ year make across different models have this problem. They have neglected customer safety and satisfaction, while just replacing the defective design with another similar one.

wow! great info! I wonder if you could send this to the NHTSA bc this affects newer civics and CRVs as well. They released a TSB for the newer cars but 2016-2021 nothing

Finally a video on the 2.0L motor... what was the main reason for swapping the injectors? I got a 17' Civic Lx giving me a "Rich Code" p0172 and want to know if that's the issue you were having?

What was the issue you were having that made you work on the injectors? I have a code for cylinder three misfire along with the cylinder four misfire, and then a random cylinder, misfire code. I changed out all spark plugs, and one of the coils for cylinder four and still got a misfire swapped coils one and two were three and four and still got a misfire on three and four, so I am wondering if the injectors are bad and that is my issue. If you have any advice that be great thanks
