    Phrasing and expressing well with good techniques! But i honestly felt boring for the theme part(beginning), because Brahms was inspired by Beethoven as well as Chopin, so when forte comes, you could play in more of like Beethoven style, with more force to make the song more interesting with variety of scenes.

    hello! I like your performance :) but I wonder why you play it at that time :O I really think it's supossed to be slower, maybe you can tell me :)

    • @NicolasEjzenberg

      There is no tempo or dynamic indications on Bach pieces. You have the choice :)

      Most pianists indeed play the prelude a bit slower, but I don't find this version too fast.

    this movement is not the tempest...this is the 1st movement, the 3rd movement of this sonata is called, "the tempest" correction

    How old were you when you played this? Wonderful interpretation of Brahms style, great expression and dynamics not to mention the technique required. Hope you go far in music.

    Very nice ... the phrasing, the tone, the technique, the brusque Brahmsian 'feel.'

    Very good! Probably my favourite recording of this P&F one RUclips, this will be helpful because I'm studying it right now! Shame about the piano not being so well tuned.

    • @MarcusHK1
      @MarcusHK1 5 лет назад

      It's good indeed, but personally my favorite version of this P&F on YT is by Tatiana Nicolayeva. Actually the piano sounds more like a Bösendorfer, which has a softer tone, than a Steinway. It's probably due to the recording.
