Helllo!!! How Did u get out the old Clamps?
I did use a pocket screw driver and pried on them
Hello The engine light turns on when I start the truck in the morning, I cleared it a couple of times, I drive the truck for the whole day and the engine light doesn’t come on, but it does comes back on the next morning when I start the truck, it says turbocharger actuator #1 abnormal update rate. The truck runs fine , is a sensor that might be bad and it’s misreading?
Do you give it enough time when you cycle the key, very common it happens when you just turn key straight to crank. This could also be a VGT actuator starting to act up, you need Cummins on-site to test it
@ ittakes about a minute , this morning the light didn’t come
There anyway I can show me a picture of the vacuum lines on the passenger side close up and lit. Having a problem with a misfire and acceleration and I believe that it's a vacuum line mixed up I did a tune-up on a 89 camper Toyota 3.0 having a hard time get it running right
I could do that but I have my 4Runner parked on a far family property, I will go there next weekend. I will keep you in mind if you. Your friends with vacuum leaks is smoke test . Double check your spark plug wires routing too
No impeller left!
Yeap 😂
“I know the problem with it, it ain’t got no gas in it.” -wildcat
😂 😂 😂 nailed it
Lmfao that water pump is accomplishing the equivalent of a Mormon/LDS technique known as "soaking"
😂 lmao hhhhh
The water pump on my Jeep looked just like that one time lol
😂 got its every dime worth at least
I would put a 200 ohm resistor in series with that wire instead of just grounding it straight to ground. It's not good to peg a meter for a long time, as it can damage the meter. I think 200 ohms should give you approximately a mid-scale reading, or where ever the meter normally reads when the engine is warmed up.
Thank you for the information , definitely never thought of that . I could have caused some damage shorting it to ground like that
@@WheelersHoarder I was wrong about that 200 ohm resistor. For an '89 Ranger with the 2.3 liter engine, grounding the sensor lead with a 25 ohm resistor will give you about a mid-scale reading. 10 ohms should push the needle to Hot on the gauge and 78 ohms should move it to the cold part of the scale.
@@WheelersHoarder I found this chart, which will come in handy for anyone who needs to check their sensor. A lot of their vehicles use this coolant temperature sender (thermistor). You should check your service manual to know for sure the proper resistance values to try when you are testing your meter. FORD TEMPERATURE SENDER CHART Ohms Degrees Gauge Mark 78 130 "C" 50 160 Low Line 26 200 Center 16 230 High Line 10 250 "H"
@ thank you , very handy chart
Won't last long. Better to weld in a piece of plastic. Fiberglass resin won't adhere to plastic well and will eventually fall off.
This one adhered better with the roughing the surface, I wish I made a video of me braking it after. But totally agree I would use the weld kit if I was not messing any broken parts
You only explain it lol. Just do your work job so viewer will see how you do it not pure talking 😂
Sorry about the blabla, but here the link : Fiberglass and resin repair kit demonstration ruclips.net/video/dXFSpD1LxKU/видео.html
this has nothing to do with Bondo Reems, Disliked!
Sorry buddy

The orings are different from top to bottom depending on the year. Thats why they have different part numbers....
Thank you for the info , never had to replace the bottom one yet
This was pissing me off so bad.
It gets on your nerves and make you wonder why the manufacturer loves that
The Haynes manual is vague for the fluids to use on the transfer case. It states this: 1985 and earlier 75W90 gear oil. 1986 - 1989 Manual Transmission 75W90 gear oil (this is on the subheading under Transfer case oil, so it's for the transfer case for manual transmission 4Runners in the year range 1986 - 1989). But then it says, for Automatic transmissions Dexron II ATF 1986 - 1989. Finally, 1990 & later: 4-cylinder 75W90 gear oil. And for V6 engine Dexron II ATF (this also under the subheading for Transfer case oil, all this data is under Transfer case oil). Whoever the last person was, who added ATF fluid on that 4Runner must have read the Haynes manual. I've had my 1991 4Runner V6, 3vze, 4x4, manual transmission for 10 years & the Haynes Manual for it just as old, since i purchased both on the same day. And till now, the transfer case fluid instructions on the haynes manual still drives me nuts. I recently added all oil fluids to every part that requires it, and noticed a strong gear fluid smell inside the cabin while I drive, since i added all the fluids 2 months ago. Gear oil is so foul smelling. This has me wondering if i should have used the ATF fluid as the Haynes Manual so vaguely describes to use. So now I plan to drive to my local Toyota dealership, show them the Haynes Manual, so that they carefully look it up, give me the accurate info, so i can enter it on my haynes manual.
I started looking at all Data website or pro demand Mitchell, definitely it has never been easy to tell what fluid it came with , I usually look at something with very low mileage and check what has used from factory. I m sure they want atf if you automatic and 75w90 if you have manual. In case your seal is leaking between it won't hurt the transmission specially the automatic one
My car a 2020 Kia forte gt, hesitates to accelerate. When going over 30mph the rpm’s go up and down, any idea as to what that might be. Your help would mean a ton, I’ve taken it to the dealer multiple times and they cannot figure out what’s causing it due to no check engine light.
I honestly can't judge it . It can be one of many reasons, in many situations where the dealer can't figure it out a smart local mechanic can do the diagnostic. Im sure it is nothing serious just need to go through the diag steps
i just had a new coanalytic converter fixed a week ago now its clogged smh
You must be having a problem with a rich fuel mixture, usually that is how cars burn up .
Can you tell me if my 06 Ford e250 V8 has a cat on both driver side AND passenger? Mechanic told me the passenger side cat was hotter than the other one so I bought one to replace that with and I'm hoping I get acceleration back and can go up hills again
I never worked on e250 06 but I’m 100% sure all ford v8 have 2 cats , they do melt and get clogged, best way to diagnose is disconnect the exhaust manifold and see if you get better acceleration
I have an exhaust leak on the right side manifold. Hopefully this will help. I've already got the gaskets
My biggest regrets is getting exhaust headers , i should have stuck with oem
What year was the f150?
This one is 2008, I assume all the 4.6 and 5.4 on that body style are the same
If my diesel pump isn't pumping enough fuel and causing the car to go into limp mode, will a facet pump help the diesel pump and take it out if limp mode.?
What engine you are having? If it is in limp mode did you read the codes ?
@@WheelersHoarder it's a hyundai getz 1.5 diesel d4fa, the codes pick up low fuel rail pressure.
@@mikaeeldhoda1220 if it is a low fuel rail pressure then it can't be guaranteed it will help , you might have issue with high pressure pump. But still if you have fuel priming issues this may help
@@WheelersHoarder The primer bulb loses pressure as you drive but when you prime it, it build pressure only to drive and lose pressure
Thx man
You are welcome
So his description is opposite of his explanation in the video that he was using 75w90 no matter what
Sorry about the confusion but still used 75w90 on my truck it has been 40k miles on the road no issues
i know this is an old video, but i did the R&D return rails, and they are great. Really hard to screw up and cause leaks. Definitely recommend them.
I did the R&D rails as well, definitively worth doing and I had no more leaks. Hope The IDI videos will never get old , there are few of us that are gonna keep the IDIs running in the future
I tried filling rust holes on car. crap fell out eventually. I purchased a fiberglass mat and cloth to use to refill the hole. never done it before, so watching a $h#@ load of videos to try and learn how to do it 😮. 🙏
On metal the same steps will get you beautiful results , and finish it with filler and take your time it will come out good 😉
Thx brotha
You re welcome
They aren't that hard to open up tho. That is a neat tool but if you work with those so much that the tool is a viable option then you should already be able to open them.
Believe me for years I used simple pliers , I still don’t own the tool just it happens I saw a coworker using it
@@WheelersHoarder it is a neat tool, i looked it up and I'll be honest that is more viable than i first though, you can use it for spaces you couldn't normally reach, and it helps people with muscle damage continue to work, and it seems to hold it so well that you don't have a chance of the ring flying out of your grip.
And who sells it
You can find it on Amazon, just search : cable clamp pliers
But what is it
For very hard to reach clamps , that cable pliers makes your like easier
@@WheelersHoarder oooooh ok I gotcha
Is this actually a common problem? Serious question because i put 70k miles on a f350 with the style you have on the rear
It is not a big deal , but it would really sucks loosing one of them on the highway. It just makes more sense to get the style I had at the front if ever getting new ones
@@WheelersHoarder understandable. I'm in the market right now for some for another truck and keep going back and forth. Your front style is definitely more secure but takes longer to remove to ckeck air more easily or inspect wheel and lugnuts.. decisions decisions.. thanks for the video

Excellent video. Thank You so much,my beloved ‘s car will get a lot of nice little repairs. You are so kind!! Best wishes and Godspeed.
Thank you 😊 very pleased to hear that. You are welcome , best wishes and godspeed
You did help. Thank you
You are welcome, glad it helped
Very good, keep going.
Thank you
Good engine take care of it
👍🏻👍🏻 Fixed mine based on this, and jiggling the connector around a bunch after sanding everything down didn't work. Jiggling the connector got it to function. E-Brake is strong enough it knocked it loose/out of connection again right away.
Good deal 👍🏻, I’m so glad you got it fixed land the video helped

What about the 351 with 3 belt set up anyone have a diagram? The hood doesn’t have one. Also the part that said fit (crankshaft pulley) is only a single wide groove and I apparently need a double grooved one and I can’t find it anywhere.
Check this link here , if it is the old none serpentine style it should be this : images.app.goo.gl/UHHBCr97LG9yKZHCA Unless it is aftermarket
@@WheelersHoarderthanks man!
Hey I'm just wondering is the two-wheel drive transmission you're comparing it to out of a F-150 and would it be different if you were messing with a transmission out of an F-350 or an f-450 rear wheel drive with the output shaft be larger than
I honestly gotta look at the back of zf5 , I never got the chance to mess with the rear cover of anything heavy duty
Gewd info
Thank u
Have a 94 park Ave ultra that hesitates to go over 4000 rpm and has some backfiring going on as well, will check maf sensor, change the fuel filter, Injection pressure regulator ,change the TPS and perform a exhaust back pressure test.
I would check the ignition system and unplug the camshaft sensor and see if anything changes
@@WheelersHoarder I will take that recommendation and perform the test. Will change sparkplugs and wires to have a good baseline to go from. Parts are pretty scarce here in Spain but the tests are free ;) Will check the grounds on the ICM, because all coils were replaced by the previous owner. Best regards from España🇪🇸
@@Airsoftfrreak96 if you have an OBD scanner, that might help to do some online data reading to check all the parameters while it is running.
@@WheelersHoarder Yes, a friend of mine will assist in the diagnosing and lend me his computer. this car was produced in late of december in 94 and has some 95 parts in it, like a different CamPS, Fuel PresReg and an actual OBD2 port. makes life easy. Cheers

My F3 is not the fuse in my diagram. Can you help?
What year and model you have?
Same question. 2014 f350 truck
@@MatthewBuzzeo will have to get the diagram on prodemand website, mine in the video was f550
This is exactly what I needed to get my ignition switch off before I send me column to ePowerSteering for the conversion
I think this is what happems when oil leaks in combustion chamber
Then it clogg the exhaust. Make sense
to where part is conected the cable i got trouble with mine
I'm sorry it has been a really long time since I made the video , I will try to find some wiring diagram
@@WheelersHoarder please i don't find anything so i can't conect the wire
@@WheelersHoarder I believe it's a black wire with a blue stripe.
Do u have to remove the gauge cluster?
You don’t have to , back at that time I was parting out the car and I had too many things off
