As a lot of historians also point out, it's worth noting that most knights probably did not act very chivalrous, some accounts of "knights" heading to villages/towns and extorting them like a gang would. Because that what most of them most likely were, they were trained in combat, and that's as close to "having a gun" as you can get, with not really a whole lot a normal person can do. But you've probably also heard of the word "Hedge Knight", which was a more derogatory term (since you don't have a place to sleep, so you just sleep in hedges-kinda deal) some would also call them "Knight Errant", but point is that there was a lot of knights who just "wandered around", who were hard to control because they were well versed in combat. (Chivalry was one of such ways to try and control them) But sometimes they would just create their own mafias- I mean "Knightly Orders", or mercenary companies.

Coincidentally I wanted to write a book (or try to) with a main character being a lady in waiting so this was quite helpful . Ps. Some advice for the content you make there's a significant portion of your audience that may not watch the screen (which sucks because your work is pretty good) so the way the audio flows can be more important.
