I don’t really get why this show is THAT controversial. We found this stuff funny back in Twisted and TTO. Not to mention that scene in AVPSY. Also all the jokes are made from the perspective that they are wrong and cut for a reason.

I saw a clip from a production of this show done by someone other then starkid. The sons name was clothes hanger so when the line "clothes hanger the baby killer" was said the entire cast had to try not to laugh as the audience erupted with laughter forcing the cast to wait for them to calm down.

My fave part starts here 25:59 , the comedy, the dark satire. I do hope that in Jeff's original script that the Janitor dies or gets in trouble in the end cause what's the point of making fun of pedophilia if not also condemning it? They'll send a terrible message if they let the janitor go without a terrible fate. I'm aware this was an old college play that he wrote so absolutely they performed this back in the day.

I feel like this was actually... really good. Like this show was really good. Ya know? I can understand why people some people were triggered at the time though, which could/should have been avoided by them including content warnings (which I don't think they did).
