I knew the action scenes felt too quick. I do think this should've been left in. I'm sure no one would've minded the extended length of the movie.

Bad ending?

I loved this, but this would be more fitting in a sequel. Sentinel's cannon fodder bots were obviously stronger in these storyboards compared to the final product, able to take down both the High Guard and the protagonists and feel like an actual threat.

I like it that we got to see less of the ship in the final version. It helped sell that mysterious aspect of the threat.

What the worst injustice Sentinel has ever done? 1. Betray the Primes 2. Kill Ironhide 3. Selling out Cybertron to the Quintessons 4.Being an all around jerk.

I like how Alpha Trion goes from “wise sage” to “overly critical grandpa” in the blink of an eye.

I like the 50 years more, because with the Energon flows blocked, I don’t think the Cybertronians would last 1000 years.

This is horrendous. Thank goodness they changed it massively. This is extremely bland mcu-tier quipfest with none of the sincerity the actual film has.

While I wouldn't say this scene is bad or anything, but I'm very glad the one we got instead was far more solid. It's awesome seeing the BTS for the film though in ways like this.

its interesting to see jow different the storybaords are from.the actual movie. Kinda glad this was scrapped but makes me womder what direction thwy were going in with this, since its obviously so different from the movie.

I think I like Elita-version of the pep-talk she gave to Orion, because she sounded more encouraging towards Orion to embrace the leadership (even if she doesn't directly call him a leader). Here Alpha Trion gives Orion an information of what the leader needs and what the leader must face while refusing to acknowledge him as one, right when Orion is not in his brightest moods.

Thank God we got better in the final version and this scene is cut out. It feels like totally different movie.

To be honest, this is what i was expecting from bad marketing. This feels like they're forceing a little more comedy at inappropriate times, making it seem more generic and like they're spelling out the story for you without making it as interesting. I haven't seen the other deleted scenes yet, but i hope they're not the same draft. It would be interesting to see what else they thought of while working on this film.

Fascinating tbh - I love when Orion has more self doubt like TFP “are you certain… I am worthy?” and in IDW2 before he grows into the Prime we know and love

I'll be honest, the scene feels dull for me, I don't feel the brilliance of the final version. Alpha and Orion are off for me and the worst part of the scene, even the dialogues felt cheesy and not that inspired. I'm glad we got the final version, all the serious scenes fept impactful and cleverly written. Ofc this is only my opinion Ps: I'm actually surprised that Megatron founded the Decepticons in the middle of this version of the movie

I love that D-16 just has a straight up Mega-Man arm canon instead of his fusion canon.

I love that Steve Blum voiced Alpha Trion and D-16 in this. He’s one of my favorite voice actors of all time. For those who don’t know he voiced Starscream in Transformers Prime but he’s probably more well known for his roles as Wolverine (in the majority of his animated appearances) and as Zeb from Star Wars Rebels. He also did make it into the final movie as the race announcer of the Iacon 5000.

Yo dude I thought Elita One was pretty unlikable in the movie but did she really just say she wished Alpha Trion to die already?! I know things probably went differently like this is after arachnid captures d-16 but they call him megatron and Orion seems REALLY negative and whiny but DAMN dude i don't think a main character should be saying that to one of the primes that's something I would think sentinel would say 🤨

You know I kinda glad they changed it. I mostly prefer that Alpha Tron is the while wisdom warrior that spent his life fighting and protects his people with his allies and his friends, but he soon now lost everything. But he know sees the miners they pretty much shows how strong they are, confident, loyal, and compassion. But they don't have the cores to transformed. So he gave one of his old friends for them to used to transformed. Because he now sees they'll be the next gaurdians like they are worthy. The deleted scene pretty much changed their characteristics of this scene.
