    if you play a dbz game where you can free roam the world and have top end cutscenes retelling every bit of the best anime ever made and you go like "ugh, when does this finally come to an end", my friend, then its a you problem, not a game problem. i know that we all have played and watched this story a billion times. but hell, ill play and watch it a billion times more.

    I personally enjoy the game to this day a lot, but I agree that there’s sooooo much they could’ve done that could’ve made the game a lot better. And they move really damn slow with dlcs. And they had so much time to go over the mistakes with the game but they never even touched upon any of it which really sucks

    They missed so many opportunities to make this a great game, it's like they don't want you to play but instead watch cutscenes. They spent all this time making all these menus and boards etc etc but the actual gameplay is very little just the combat fishing and collecting things. I was playing and got to snake way.....I got exited thinking oh boy are they gonna make me run and jump along snake way like a platformer as mini game? Noooooo ofc not I get a cutscene. I get to King Kai's planet......again I get exited thinking they're gonna make me catch Bubbles and Gregory? No ofc not, instead of some fun gameplay I get a cutscene instead. All these missed opportunities for good gameplay, I could go on and give more examples that would make this a great game. It's a damn shame because some things in the game are good and this could have been the best dbz game but they missed the mark a bit. It still also has a LOT of good things though, I'm enjoying playing it.

    Wanna play a game that has zero character development, zero story, and zero NPCs to interact with? Play Doom and Doom Eternal. Seriously, nitpicking at a game because it doesn't give you a full RPG-like experience is kinda petty, when it never claimed to give you an RPG-like experience. It's an Action-Adventure game. What more do you want?

  • @kiillabytez

    Borderlands is inaccurate in style and Rage 2 isn't a looter-shooter. You get a set of guns and modify them. Borderlands gives you a gun and you collect more guns from the enemies.

    The best part of this game imo were the boss fights. And it's such a shame you can't replay them on your level, or on their level. What use is it to replay the Raditz bossfight with my level 120 Goku, if Raditz goes down in literally one punch

    I finished the game + DLC 1+2 (it was on sale. I got it as a bundle. Base + DLC 1+2 all under $15) I hate some parts of the game where I have to find the parts for Bulma. Like...I dont care anymore....just move on with the story! Also in the Cell saga, when Goku and Chichi was in a picnic Honeymoon, Bulma told me(as Gohan) to find 3 parts at the mountains and that whole mission was ass! How can I find the parts when enemies keep jumping on me!? Fuck! Almost dropped the game at that part.

    Playing this in 2024 (platinum) The game is 7/10, but just because of those side quests the rating should be 5/10. You can’t even name a single side quest that was interesting rather than maybe the ghost of yamcha one. Fighting the same 3 robots again and again and they are stronger(level) than frieza army somehow btw !! They made the game annoying tbh exploring the map wasn’t fun at all just because of them robots and it’s not like if you kill them you can explore peacefully they will respawn within 20 secs again !! One example of weird boring cutscenes is during world tournament, where you have to follow trunks as goten, and I’m pretty sure you all know what I am talking about cause after chasing him down mid cutscenes and hiding the scene gets over without serving no purpose. And you’re left wondering why is that even mid gameplay cut scene why not just give the whole thing a proper cutscene. 😒 Just give us BT3 remaster (I’m not keeping my hopes high for BT4)

    Alright, a few things... Humans didn't move _to_ Oval, they made a barrier around the Moonfall's landing area called Oval. This is where all the battlefields are. The world outside Oval still exists in safety, for the most part. Funnily enough, There's actually _two_ books that exist outside the game that explain more of what's going on. Only problem is 1. They're outside the game, 2. They're in Japanese (though, one has been fully translated, that being the Sourcebook), and 3. the retelling of the story: Star Reclaimer, isn't finished yet. Even then, it seems to be diverging its path from the original game... Yeah, I still don't get the "too many characters" argument. Realistically, there'd at least be a few cannon fodder mercenaries in there, not the same 6 groups shuffled out. Most you see of others outside the groups is dead Arsenals. Most of which are just the Legion armor set. Additionally, I wouldn't say it's that hard to tell who's who. In the dialogue segments, there's usually a team emblem behind their text. (Much at like 4:33, where I'm at as I'm typing _this_ paragraph.) 5:28 Likely referring to Crimson Lord here. I think Kenichiro Tsukuda was trying to write Char in the sense that he had a hidden motive (that being gaining strength), but it mostly came out of left field. Fun fact btw, Crimson Lord's Japanese VA _did_ voice Char. Diablo shares Amuro's VA as well. The game _is_ getting a sequel, funnily enough. Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion. Either it'll take place on another planet, or they can pull an Armored Core 3 (I guess) and retell the story entirely. If anything, maybe DxM at most was just a prequel to something more. A kind of test build. Certainly feels that way to me. But tbh, I'm ok with that. Mecha was mostly dead by the time this came out, after all. Everyone figured FromSoft forgot about Armored Core. In that sense, DxM is at most, a love letter to mecha (with a bit of Ace Combat in there. Especially musically, I mean, look at who the composers are.) 7:36 Praising the mech designs rather than calling them mostly similar. That's...new. I wouldn't say it's the main theme that gets spammed to you. But rather "Overkill (Mission 1)". Really wish you could choose what song plays during like, Exploration Missions, at least. We can all agree, it's a good song even seemingly drawing some inspiration from the composer's previous work "Dogfight" from "Ace Combat: Assault Horizon", but it's used _way_ too often. 9:19 Ok, this I agree on. The game really doesn't utilize itself enough. It just feels...limited, y'know? I love the game, but the replayability isn't really there. (Exploration's still fun though.) Even a Free Flight or Endless Mode (while being able to choose a map, preferably,) would've helped big time. The cannon fodder AIs are presented as cannon fodder in the second mission of the game, to be fair. (Or first real mission, if you count the Aptitude Test as a tutorial, and _just_ a tutorial.) What I will say is, yeah, the Arsenal fights against other mercenaries aren't that hard. (Though, that wasn't entirely the case in the Prototype Missions demo.) Still, I feel like this game is easy by design. Created as a way to get more casual players into the mecha genre. Who knows, maybe Titanic Scion will be difficult for real. The teleportation thing that some enemies do is called "Blink." You can get it, it's just a body modification. I would recommend the visual guide that's up on the game's subreddit. Especially so you don't visually look...weird... Alternatively, if you want a game with really fast mechs, there's Project Nimbus, which is more akin to Ace Combat with mechs than even Armored Core. Though, it's story isn't exactly the best. (And I'm not too sure about its sequel either. Has mixed reviews on Steam right now.) If that isn't your thing though, there's always Zone of The Enders, I suppose. (Which is funny, because people reference DxM to it.) 15:11 Outer combat _especially_ needs more to it. Hopefully in the sequel. I mean, if Gundam Battle Operation 2 implemented it in beautifully imo And most importantly... *Sorry for the wall of text.*

    • @staytunedongaming
      @staytunedongaming 4 месяца назад

      Don't mind the wall of text. I like some of the points you have. The story for me, just wasn't presented in the best way. I think if the game had a glossary or archive would've helped the story a lot more. Yeah I hate content that is outside of the game. For the too many characters line, I thought that I didn't really feel a connection with any of the characters and would've liked a small cast to connect with. I'm not well verse in the mecha genre of gaming but I do understand that this is a casual experience and that the genre was mostly dead when this came out. Maybe if they centralized the game a bit more focused on a good single-player experience it would been a bit better. I am, excited for the sequel. Just to see where they go with it and if they will take this game as a learning experience and make a more memorable experience. Thanks for the comment.

    • @deltaxeno7807
      @deltaxeno7807 4 месяца назад

      @@staytunedongaming Yeah, an in-game glossary would've been really good. In hindsight, that might've been why Bullet Works exists. Hell, in Star Reclaimer (the story's retelling, in case I didn't mention it initially) the Rookie joins them. (While I'm at it, Fun Fact: The Rookie's name in Star Reclaimer is Sirius.) I mean, for the most part, the single player content outweighs the multiplayer content. Which is kind of conflicting, considering both difficulty and really, marketing went towards multiplayer. (Multiplayer Story would've been cool though...) As I said before, Daemon X Machina is a pretty good base. They just need to build on it. Bring out its potential. It's there.

    I just finished it and to me its biggest flaw is the gameplay in combat just being repetitive, boring, and mostly brain dead Ennemies have either a lower level than you and you will crush them instantly just by mashing square, or a higher level than you and then you’ll end up just spamming genkidamas for hours since they can tank you melee attacks and interrupt your combos pretty much evey time There are actual mechanics in the game, you can vanish, you can block, you can guard cancel etc, but none of that matters since melee fights are mostly inexistant As soon as you engage in melee fights, other ennemies attack you in the back, spamming ki blasts and tanking most of your attacks The only decent fights are 1v1 fights, with ennemies without tanking armour And there’s not a lot

    Great game Things not clear Because there aren't 16 of them... there's an eighth girl missing... in a reality show two twins were worth just one participant... and they're in an ark 3 Sentinels are missing, so Tsubasa, Tamao and 8th girl are playable...if they make a dlc What would adult Megumi have become? Because in robots they are naked, but they still wear glasses (which would be obsolete) and tied hair... they could lose them in battle

    Asides a little bit of xenoverse 2 this is my first real dragon ball game since the days of buus fury and tenchiachi or however it’s spelled . So far it’s pretty fun . The “open world “ aspects leave some things to be desired but the story is really hitting with me thus far . I think a big part is I haven’t watched dragonball z since it originally aired when I was younger . So it’s been like 15-20 years since I’ve seen been through sayian and frieza saga

    rage 2 was a great game but then they added a global damage boost of 50k which ruined the flow of all combat by making the game too easy and making the grav dart launcher fucking useless since the second the dart hits em they die

      That is an issue the game just didn't feel like a challenge. Yeah. The Grav dart did feel useless but it was fun use at times.

      Play in nightmare or ultranightmare for a challenge, even in new game + the game increases difficulty further

      the difficulty isn't the problem the damage makes the game easier yes but even in ultra nightmare and new game plus the 50k damage boost doesn't get negated in the higher difficulty every enemy is still one shot @@bubuasqw123

      @@kiillabytez i was on max difficulty the 50k damage booster was too high it just makes everything die and theres no way to disable it

    Dude you are telling me this game is based off an anime? Dude thats cool. I like the game. Its slow and it takes its time. It feels kind of like the yakuza games I honestly cant tell you why it feels that way but it does
