In 🇨🇦 can only get a Gyroplane permit which isn’t recognized outside of 🇨🇦. Can get a gyro-night rating but there is no commercial gyro license. TC is behind the times unfortunately. What license do you have to do this flight?
Can you prerotate to 300rpm?
А крылышки то ему зачем приделали? Есть тут аэродинамики? Поясните. Сомневаюсь что есть вразумительный ответ от производителя.

Sure hope the 916 triple get a type certificate in Canada with amphibious floats.
Hopefully this beautiful three seater will be available with all minimum equipment for night and even IFR. Amphibious floats and monster size bush tires.
Be cool if the rear seats could be removed for freight. 😀

Всем кому интересно.. У этого автожира очень слабое шасси. Задние полурессоры из алюминиевого сплава. Которые быстро теряют геометрию и идут трещинами. И это косяк именно производителя. А так в целом очень хорош. Летает гораздо лучше любой немецкой поделки под "автожир". Опыт эксплуатации - 10 лет.

Very nice finish, many details. I'm surprised by how many gyro producers there are when the aviation market is so relatively small. I've had a light sport plane in a flying club but I've never seen a gyro in real life. It doesn't make sense. There much be someone somewhere buying some.

Would you show placing the tube over the nozzle.
How hard is it to get the little plastic tube onto the sprayer inside the crank? (How did you do that?) Can you add that to the video? Rotax says to use an unobtainable unicorn tool…omg

Rotax sure has it issues. Have you ever thought of a slow speed Titan or other slow speed engines?
They all have issues, that’s just life. The great thing about Rotax, contrary to most other companies, is that they pay attention, and have a formal process for tracking, documenting, and then notifying users. I’ll take the formal process any day when my butt is in the air . Overall, the Rotax is much more durable and reliable.
@timothyahiggins others aircraft engines have the same safety protocols and processes. I have enjoyed Continentals & Lycomings being more safe w/less issues.

Airwolf Gyro!!!!
Near perfect on all accounts except the take off distance. Bigger engine may be in order to achieve more RPM in pre rotation? Early gyro could take off in 80 ft or less. This is the key for that type of airship.
