Hello Grace; First of all, you sure do your name justice. It is mind boggling what is involved in Irish Dancing and it is clear that anyone doing it must have enormous passion in order to get all the finesse and techniques under their belt. Watching a performance is like witnessing extraterrestials defying gravity and make us human spectators feel going through life with steel pipes as legs and lumps of lead as feet. Hopefully many aspiring dancers will learn from your well presented postings. Wishing you success!

Any other tips for getting more power when jumping after that switch step? I've been struggling with this move for sooo long! And then I broke my big toe which has left me with arthritis, which doesn't make it any easier. 🥺
