Wish you were here, Pink Floyd's song released in 1975 was inspired by the tragic fate of the founder of Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett. It was quite a challenge to cover and I hope I have done it justice. It's a beautiful anthem remembering the ones we have lost

#amoureuse was composed by French singer-songwriter Véronique Sanson. Originally the title track of her 1972 album, a faithful English lyric was produced by Elton John collaborator Gary Osbourne, and the UK single was released by Kiki Dee in 1973. Manda and I would sing it together in the car and it was played at her memorial.

"All by Myself" by Eric Carmen was released in 1975, based on the second movement of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, most notably covered by Celine Dion and Jamie O'Neal (Bridget Jones's Diary). It was a bit of a challenge to cover with just guitar and vocal!

This wonderful love song from Cat Stevens/Yusuf was on the Teaser and the Firecat album released in the 70s. Manda's good friend Ros selected it to be played at her own funeral so I rarely played it at home in the three years before my darling joined her
