I've hired my kids' friends to help in my business. This summer I hired one to help with some production work, simple Etsy updating (Image Alt Text, adding links, updating the production info, etc.). I've also hired help for my farmers market booth, just to have an extra set of hands. Check the local high school, college, or other young people who want extra $$. It's so worth the money!

Changing my descriptions and product presentation won't change that the traffic has dropped by 70%... people don't go to my store. Everything is in red. I would understand if the traffic was higher than the buying act but it's not the case

Why don't you start an Etsy shop from 0 and document the journey? A handmade shop, not pod or digital. And without social media. Can a brand new shop exist and grow on Etsy only?

gift mode is awful...been an Etsy seller since 2009. None of my items show up in gift mode search. I handmake decals, and glitter stickers with over 65,000 orders.

I don't believe there's any difference between pod or printing your own shirt. In the end it's still a printed sheet and shipped out to a customer. The only real different is someone is adding a shirt in a pretty bag and a pretty insert. The customers don't know anything about pod. I don't think it's fair to talk down about pod as long as that shop owner is doing is ethically. Just my 2 cents.
