@@MindstormerThanks!
Cry-key!!
Me likey
Very cool
Nice, i can do that with literally any hard object.
Wow you are so gifted…..
@Ryan_Erkkila your jealousy is noted
@ 😝
Yeah, nice, but my knife can do that too
I see youve played knifey spoony before
That damper needs cleaning
It could use a brushing! Thanks for watching!
Thank you
Your welcome!
I don't like this. But you do you, thanks for experimenting.
Fair enough!
It's actually called CLUELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve wondered why my company didn’t put a damper on my 6 inches double wall duratek Pipe. Got a Jotul Carrabasset wood stove w no catalytic converter
I think the theory with high efficiency stoves is that you can control the rate of burn by regulating the intake air, as your stove door etc is airtight so those manufacturers don't put a damper on the stove. If your unhappy with the way your stove burns I would give the manufacturer a call. Thanks for watching!
I have the same stove. It's our main source of heat for 2800 sq ft. I'm experimenting with the flu damper over last few days. I would rather not send 400° up the chimney that I could use for heat.
@johnbalzano6588 it's definitely a balance. I am still trying to find the sweet spot, I tend to have it run hot but you lose a lot of heat that way. Thanks for watching!
@@LizAlexy Hello, I haven't seen a damper like you see on the stove in video on any of the new high efficiency stoves like your Jotul. I would talk to your dealer or manufacturer if your having any issues. Thanks for watching!
This is stupid

Predatory mites are the business
Have you tried doing better?
I am pretty good at overstriking!
@upnorthhomestead just teasing ya. I have the same splitter and havr brothe handle. Maybe i need to try doing better haha
More grunting plz
UHHHM WHA-
You can do all that with the blade 🤗
You can do the same thing with a sharp axe
Can i buy dragon wood at the GE in Varrok?
How do you make dragon wood?
"For making wood" *plants a tree*
"For making wood" *Opens a tab to po#@hub*
Could also help prying apart really tough pieces
Just look into heat-treating the blade. Grinding likely introduced heat in the cuts. If there isn't uniform heat across the piece you'll get misaligned steel crystal lattice, which can split and break your axe! It could be done quite easily in the coals of a good sized fire.
It’s just nonsense everything you said
You should patent that bro.
That was my thought. Then you could market the patent to Fiskars or other axe manufacturers. I bet it would sell better than their existing pickaroons.
Anyone else see a potential bottle opener?
Where can you find Dragon wood?
Ahhh I see what you did there 😂😂😂
Very nice but there is a tool called a axearoon which is a axe and a pickaroon on the other but nice I like it Also that’s a felling axe not a splitting axe
Now I have wood.
The hook, personal taste. The hand made over strike protector on the other hand....Nice addition man.
@@jerrybarnes9538 thanks, appreciate it!
@@upnorthhomesteadIf you cut a little notch on the inside of the top hook, it'll double as a bottle opener =b
You can do with a full head ax 2😊
@@BARBQPUP that's true. It's a trade off, does work better as a picaroon if you modify as I did, but you lose a cutting edge. Thanks for watching!
The other option is to use a rim cleaner. It will eat and wash off those spots
Never thought of that. Thanks for sharing!
This is the simplest explanation I've found! Well done!
@@jay_deezy4179 Thank you! Appreciate it
Ours is much bigger. Don’t trust command adhesive. How else can I hang this design?
Any type of hangers screwed to the studs would be fine.
I do the same thing with my splitting axe. Just a light swing to get the bit to grab. But to each their own
You are going to jail ;)
But you pulled a log down and it got into the way. Just get the log and place it. This is weird. And the reverb in the ax head is all but gone
Here I always used the very points of the axe.
perfect weapon for a doom glory kill
lazy man
Lazy people win. Turns out that doing things with less effort is smarter and better!
@raeandringa7260 here in my country say lazy man work twice
Weird I do that without destroying an axe
easier and safer will be just take log by your hands
This removes a TON of motion. It is, literally, "easier" (although experience can skew results).
Just be sure not to remove the temper from the blade whenever you're adding that extra heat from the angle grinder into the metal
U read my mind
That’s pretty damn cool! Great idea
Thanks, appreciate it!
That's pretty handy. Thank you for posting
You are welcome!
What a vagina
Pretty cool
I can do that with a single bit ax and no modification.
