Here's my interpretation of the song (since I'm trying to replicate how my idol youtuber does his youtube videos) For many, Iris could be a song about expressing deep, unfiltered emotions and a sense of yearning for connection but to me I interpret in a different way For me, I'm thinking of a scenario about 2 lovers and unfortunately one of them passes on. Lines like "I'd give up forever to touch you" and "When everything feels like the movies, yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive" reflects the pain and emptiness of losing someone dear and the desire to feel their presence again, even if only in spirit. I see it as someone grappling with grief and the desire to remain connected to a loved one even though they are no longer physically present. I see it as a message expressing ones desire to connect with the living and be remembered. So please guys cherish every moment with your family members before it is too late. Have a good weekend! ☺️
