This is so true though. I think of MCST as a giant social experiment. I'd suggest getting someone you know outside of MCST and play with them. Most games you do have to assimilate with a giant team quite unfortunately and also often nobody wants to duel, which is just frustrating. I don't really understand why teams would prefer to fly around a tiny arena and mine for no reason for 40 minutes, rather than fight and move on to another game. As you said, it is a game of chicken, but the other players are looking for any social excuse to kill you (i.e., accidentally shooting someone). The best strategies are ask people to duel (Attack? No help), and if no one accepts, just pretend to be afk. We really need bouncing lasers back.

also the sweat (a st rothos no s) is actually a really good sport as well as a good player. one time in survival we were teamed and fighting like 5 x3s, but then i had to leave for a few mins. when i came back, not only was i still alive, but he had killed all the x3s and protected me for the entire time only to absolutely destroy me in the ensuing duel.@@MR.SharkStudios

@@leoshi5555 Yes, with hyperion, you're pretty much guaranteed a win, which is why I don't play it anymore. Again, yes, I was in that game, but I died to a not very good player in a star-booster.

You probably don't know that strategy. It's called hard-grinding. You ram the rock for extra damage and recollect your gems. You don't do it around other players unless you trust them. No, it's not dumb, quite the opposite.

I'm usually communicating to my teammate via Discord, so constantly entering and exiting fullscreen would be a nightmare. Thanks though!

We call those "Randos/Randoms". They normally don't make it past Wave 5 at the most. So we generally create private rooms for our games.

So you're going to have to be specific about what ship you were playing (perhaps even what ship I was playing) and around what time it happened. :)
