Great to hear from you Tyler. Yes, we're still traveling & learning about nature & this fabulous world. We were already booked for whale watching in Maui the day it got burned. So we opted to go here in Newfoundland. But we haven't given up on Maui so we might do another whale watching there next year. No. Our Icebreaker cruise was on the northern most arm of the Baltic Sea known as the Gulf of Bothnia. The explosion in Sep. 22, 2022, that caused damage & leakage of the pipeline was lower in the Baltic Sea around the vicinity of the Danish Island of Bornholm. The incident has been investigated by Denmark, Sweden & Germany. On 2-2024 they confirmed & concluded that it was sabotage without publicly assigned responsibility. Of course there are many speculations & assumptions has come out of this to promote ones agenda. I wonder if you must have read Mr. Seymour Hersh article who alleged that the attack was ordered by the US Government based on anonymous info. (Snopes- 2/19/2023). He also implicated Norway. But of course the White House denied & said "it's utterly false & complete fiction." Norwegian authorities said "it's nonsense" (Reuters Feb 9, 2023). Russian representative Vasily Nebenza accused the UK & US & alleged that a US Helicopter was responsible for the gas leak. When investigated by the UN Security Council, they found out that the Helicopter never flew along the pipeline & the gas leak was 19 miles away from its flight path. (Reported by Weber Joscha :Deutsch Welle, 9/30/2022). Perhaps you may have also listened to Donald Trump who in Apr 12, 2023 when asked whom he thinks carried out the sabotage, he said "...I know but I'm not telling, and it's not the Russians..etrc.," The Washington Post comments that it's more likely political rhetoric in his effort to blame Biden (Washington Post 4/12/2023). Just to mention some investigations done.., In Apr or Mar 2023 the Danish Defense Command confirmed that 6 Russian Naval Ships w/ Special Forces Frogmen & salvage ship able to launch mini-submarine operation in the area 4 days before the explosion. These Naval vessels has the capabilities of lowering sea objects such as mines & other explosives. Russia supplies about 45 % of Europe's natural gas energy. In this worlds current political situation it is not at all inconceivable if the sabotage is aimed towards disrupting the infrastructure &/or economy of the NATO Nations.

Yes, it's amazing. I love it. That was my 3rd Balloon ride. The 1st was in Egypt where we were blown off course by the wind during landing & we wound up landing on the bank of a river. Then in Tanzania we had difficulty getting off the ground because of strong ground wind. This time in Kenya it was smooth ride & exhilarating.

Thanks Faz. It was a thrill floating up in the air & exciting to take photos & video the moving animals below. Yes, definitely it should be on your bucket list. However if the ground wind is too strong or whirling, the balloon will have difficulty rising & the trip has to be cancelled for the following day or so & hope for calmer wind.

The Hot Air balloon was part of a Safari trip arrange by the Gate 1 travel company. If you arrange for the Hot Air Balloon yourself will cost $500/person in Kenya & $550/person in Tanzania, for 1 hour ride. This was in 2021. Sorry for delayed response. I was out of the country for 3 weeks & just got back.

It improved the image quality but I didn't realize the audio output was bad. I didn't want to re-do it as it takes so much time. You two were on the video on the 1st part while walking to the Seaport. But got only your back & lasted just 4 seconds. We hope our path will cross again at some time somewhere. Thanks Helen, I appreciate your comments. Bring your telephoto camera at least 300mm as the animals tend to be a little too far out at times or the balloon too high up. Try to watch the accompanying video w/c I titled "The Migration " w/c will give you an idea of the dramatic spectacle of the largest animal migration on earth. A wonder of nature. I hope you're lucky to have the chance to watch this amazing event.

Yes, that's right. Get a selfie stick that will secure the cellphone very very tightly, then attach an additional (longer) strap on the wrist strap & hang it over your neck so that if it slips off your wrist or drop the selfie stick it's still secured hanging on your neck.
