To be honest it was a bit boring, when the wind picked up it struggled to penetrate and there was no provision for ballast. I think the wing section is a bit thick but being foam with only a little carbon it couldn't be thin. I would get a Dreamflight Ahi for similar money instead....way more fun and can fly well in a wider wind range 👍

ahi is an epo made in the form that the hacker is cutting the epp .. so there will be about rough surface however thank you for the answer a lot

Unfortunately I damaged it a long time ago and not fixed it yet. I will get it flying again, just the fuse needs painting now so I've not flown it enough to answer, sorry

@@FrankDoylezw not really, the two that I have done to date have taken a considerable amount of time to do.... the most recent has 6 servos and detachable wings....but boy does it fly well 😁👍

mine is electric....think it's about 5-5.5kg :) great model..... I have crashed it a while ago and need to finish the repair :( , it is strong though and now I have flown for a few more years I should be better :) all the best with yours, very good quality :)

This has ailerons, elevator and rudder. I tried rudder and elevator only at first but it didn't turn well enough. 😁

We will see as this is my first settings and also waiting on a replacement as the wide view has a small mark on the lens so this is narrow. I was unimpressed with Runcam and Foxeer reviews so thought I would try out something new. It is more usable than my bulky Gopro 3 Black being a better shape so doesn't affect airflow and is much lighter too. You are right, I wouldn't have bought a Mobius because it is outdated, 30fps in 1080 is not what I wanted (I think that is its res) and the built in OLED screen is as easy to navigate as GoPro's. Many more settings to have a play with but it's pretty good.....120fps in 720 may produce some good slo-mo shots, we will see!

I've killed by Mobius :( and now I am looking for the Q6 for airplane and drone filming. After looking at all the Q6/Runcam 2/Mobius comparative movies I think Q6 has the best quality/price ratio being still vulnerable and risky to use in RC environment...

I think any action cam has a risk on rc aircraft but the upside it's not hundreds of pounds, is a good shape (not a brick), light weight and has a really good picture.....just bought a new 4k tv and my other video pointing down the wing of the glider looks seriously good on a 49inch TV :)

+Cam Bo Sorry didn't see your post! :-/ I don't know the wind speed but it was off to the left, poor lift at times. Did well for the conditions :) Hope your maiden went well!? I think it needs ballast for when the wind is quite strong

Thanks for that. Maiden went well. Mine needed weight adding to the tail for COG balancing - which is a first for me to add weight there. Plane flies well and is pretty sturdy too. I don't know what you think but I find the canopy and the way it attaches flaky and felt the need to put some rubber bands round it.

Funny I added a bit to the tail also! :D I didn't use their canopy attachment I made a couple of thin ply frames to strengthen the canopy and attached magnets. ;) Did a few mods, my kit turned up without enough carbon rods so added strips instead, :)

Yeah, wanted to try a cheap Dlg plane to see if was for me, good light lift plane and good fun :) unlikely to be as good as the legendary Alula though!
