I feel like the clock as a standalone device isn’t enough to justify the high price point. Like if it had a pokewalker kinda device that unlocked new themes and synced to the Alarmo, even something like that would’ve been cool. Great video btw!

Not being a oled is.. weird and greedy

The screen of my Nest Hub (Google's competition to the Echo Show) stays on throughout the day and the display can be customized. I like the large clock face that I can read from across the room. I have night mode enabled so that the screen is dimmed at night, but it is optional. You can still read the time in a dark room, but the brightness and hue of the screen doesn't interfere with sleep. If you flip on the lights, the screen brightens to match the room. But you can change brightness settings as well. I have 3 Nest Hubs in my home, and having tested Amazon's counterparts, there's no way I would switch. Google's assistant is more helpful, especially as I use the Google ecosystem so much anyway. I live in jersey an i hear a lot of compliments an complaining about this pro .. but it’s way way more to complain about as far as price .. I like it an it probably plays really nice I have the series X .. but I wouldn’t mind making this purchase. But it is kinda close to a ok PC price

If you really think that a ps5 pro is expensive then hear this when i bought my ps5(a normal ps5 with the disc drive not the slim) in December 2023 it cost me 12500 Rand which converts to 722.15 usd. So i think the bundle here in south africa will cost around 1200-1250 usd, and that’s the thing the south african government is taxing everything a lot more than the USA

Try buying a dedicated GPU with the same features and performance. They start at around 550 USD (RTX4070). The PS 5 PRO is a bargain in context. If you're happy with less performance, buy a lesser console.

The question isn't the price or even the additional add on's you may need or want to buy. The real question, if I bought the Pro would I genuinely see a massive upgrade from my regular PS5. Are there any games currently available that require a PS5 Pro to play. Finally, ignoring the cost for a moment, to enjoy the full capabilities of the PS5 pro, you will need a TV/monitor capable of handling the input signal from the Pro i.e. VRR, ALLM, HDMI 2.1. You'll not necessarily need all of these to play PS5 Pro, but you will if you really want to get the most out of your new PS5 Pro. Otherwise, it's just a regular PS5 .

The PS5 Pro is using RDNA 4 and we don't know what it is equivalent to in terms of graphics. RDNA 4 isn't even out for PC consumers yet. One of the 1st RDNA 4 graphics card is the RX 8000, which is more powerful than the RTX 4090. That is coming out in 2025. So, that is the main reason why the PS5 Pro is so damn expensive. RDNA 4 architecture is very new. I might get the PS5 Pro but I need more info from AMD and Playstation, such as the full clock frequency from the PS5 Pro.

What the console does is actually quite a good upgrade to the base PS5. The problem is the price, if this was based at £400, the hype behind it would be high, & they probably could’ve got away with selling the disc drive separately. As for the stand not being included, there’s no excuse for that. Most gamers will skip this & just wait for the PS6

I mean seeing the specs what if theyre gonna release the same games in more optimised high graphics mode. Why bash out on a device just after 2 days of release

My opinion, the buttons on the DS4 feels cheap compared to PS5. I also like the usb c on DS5 to not only be faster than the micro usb on the DS4 but also the cable disconnect less often while gaming. The only thing I do like about the DS4 is that the shape is much more ergonomic

I prefer my third party charging grip because it lights up red when it's charging and turns green when it's done. I have one of these official charging grips but I can't even tell if it's charging or not.
