Meditation reduces cortisol levels, helps manage emotional triggers, and fosters quicker recovery from stress. Gautama Buddha's method fosters equanimity by observing breath (& thoughts without reacting according to some buddhist teacher). Tibetan monk Mingyur Rinpoche demonstrated unparalleled brain activity during Love, Kindness, Compassion meditation #heartcoherence, showcasing meditation’s potential to foster empathy and emotional connection. #gamma #brain wave

WRONG. Wanna know how music got "free"...? Take it from someone in high-school during the PEAK time of this revolution. The ROOT, the CORE reason why this all happened. It came from MY issue. Which was the issue from all "kids". Who on average got an 10$ per week allowance. That's right, this story comes from the "crete", the damn concrete ROOTS of it all. Just a nobody. The reason is NO different than cinema. Cd's went from $10.99-$12.99 to $19.99 to $22.99 at Music world (you didn't DARE go to HMV because they were at least 1-3 dollars more) at the same time as albums went from COMPLETE body's of work you were proud to memorize EVERY song on the album, to GARBAGE "albums" you barely would dare to listen to more than 3 songs more than once!! THAT'S why the new generation I was a part of said PASSIONATELY, "F-U"! Besides, it was made clear to us through artists mouths that they make PENNIES off of album sales and EVERYTHING off of concerts/tours. The least you people could do at this point, is be HONEST as to why YOU people FAILED to hold the world back from music. Pathetic!

I had a hard time finishing this book. She repeats stuff we kind of already know and can learn if you just listen to the narrative Holmes gives us in the books/shows/movies. In order to pay attention like Holmes, you have to pay attention more often instead of being on auto-pilot. You'll only get better at it through practice (duh). Also, remain emotionally detached, remove biases, and dont jump to conclusions. All stuff Holmes ridicules Watson on in the media. That's pretty much 90% of the book, just reiterated for 300 pages.

NOTE: I bet the actual real knowledge this author has of North Korean, Chinese, or Russian history, is somewhere between 1% and 0%. Also, one more thing, this time with a little more compassion: I think I'm learning something in relation to talks like these... and what I mean by that is conversations between people who "love the history of the US," and those who "Hate it..." It seems that a healthy person is not really caught up in this conversation too much at the expense of what they actually DO IN THERE LIVES. So... if they are drawn to compassion, do they do compassionate things regularly? And not just for show? Or if they are drawn to achieve are they making there lives better than yesterday? It seems to me people who are drawn to achievement and adventure will probably irrevocably be drawn to the "Great American Experiment," regardless of how many terrible mistakes are in it, and it will not matter how many books like this are written while they are doing it, because they aren't listening/reading them anyway. On the other hand, someone who is more drawn to compassion and contemplation will not be caught up in a book like this for too long either because they want to live lives of gratitude, peace and presence. My read is people who get caught up in books like these are not bad people, but hurt people. Lots of times at least. And I pray healing for you. It isn't that a book like this is bad to read, but I'm not sure it will feed your soul long-term. And of course there is a snake-like person who will read a book like this and see it as a chance to exploit the pains of people's past for political gain. It's my hope that we can live in a nation that is very aware that these two temperaments exist: hard-wired adventure-people and hard wired-compassion people... and that probably a balanced and healthy person, will have both of these instincts in them strongly without spurning them.
